‘Leak It’ will be FLO’s second release of 2026, the first being ‘Mamacitas’ which was part of the soundtrack of the animated movie GOAT which was released in February. Flo also hinted at other new music during their appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert, performing new songs ‘Therapy At The Club’ and ‘HaterBooth’. Aside from ‘Recently Deleted’, a single released in December 2025, this new music is the first from FLO following their debut album which came out in November 2024. ‘Access All Areas’ debuted at number three in the UK and subsequently became the highest charting album by a British R&B group in 23 years. Made popular by singles such as ‘Check’, ‘Walk Like This’ and ‘In My Bag’, the sixteen track album featured inclusions from Cynthia Erivo and GloRilla and three days after its release, a deluxe version followed. Named ‘Access All Areas: Unlocked’, the deluxe version was made up of remixes of songs from the original album with features from Chlöe and Halle, Bree Runway and Kehlani who they supported on tour in 2024.

FLO were formed in 2019, with members Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas and Renée Downer. The R&B trio released their first single ‘Cardboard Box’ in March 2022, followed by ‘Immature’ in July of the same year. Their debut EP ‘The Lead’ was also released in July and led the group a nomination the 2023 MOBO Awards and an inclusion as part of VevoDSCVR’s Artists to Watch. Their second EP ‘3 of Us’ was released in July 2023, following their first tour ‘FLO Live’ which featured support from Natanya, Tiana Blake and Samaria. Their second tour, ‘Access All Areas Tour’, saw the group visit the UK, Europe and North America performing 38 shows between April and October 2025.

Outside of releasing music, FLO have been busy so far in 2026. In February, they attended the Grammy Awards in February to honour their nomination for the Best Progressive R&B Album and also performed at the NBA London halftime show. They also performed at the Universal Music’s Pre-Brit Awards Showcase and told NME that they that they plan to release a new album although singles such as ‘Leak It’ will definitely come first.

In a heartfelt message shared on their official Instagram account, FLO expressed their disappointment: “It breaks our hearts to share this news, but due to Renée’s injury, we have to postpone our upcoming UK and European tour dates. We promise to reschedule as soon as possible and appreciate your understanding”. The group has assured fans that all purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced in due course. Despite this setback, Renée is expected to recover in time for their North American tour, scheduled for April and May, which will proceed as planned.

FLO emerged onto the music scene with their debut single ‘Cardboard Box‘ (2022), a catchy sendoff to a cheating partner that quickly gained popularity. Their debut album, ‘Access All Areas‘, released in November 2024, showcases their commitment to reviving classic R&B sounds with modern flair. The group’s rapid ascent in the music industry has been marked by notable achievements, including winning the BRITs Rising Star Award in 2023, the first group to do so. They have also garnered support from high-profile celebrities, including Elton John and Ariana Grande, and have performed at major music festivals.

Fans have shown support during this challenging time, flooding social media with well-wishes for Renée’s speedy recovery. The group remains optimistic and looks forward to returning to the stage to connect with their audience soon.

Announcing the EP on Instagram, the band wrote “Our new three track EP ‘3 of Us’ is out now. A gift to the FLO Lifers who have been waiting so patiently for new music, we hope this will keep you fed whilst we finish off the album.”

The girlband performed their previously unreleased songs “Control Freak” and “Change” at this year’s Glastonbury Festival performance on the Woodsies Stage. FLO also performed other songs on day 3 of Glastonbury including “Not My Job”, “Immature”, “Another Guy”, “Feature Me”, “Summertime”, “Losing You”, “Superstar” (Jamelia cover), “Fly Girl”, and “Cardboard Box”.

FLO are a British girlband consisting of three members Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer. Forming in 2019, the girls were signed to a multinational record label Island Records. Island Records have signed artists including Bob Marley, Amy Winehouse, ArrDee, and Jessie J.

The group released their debut single “Cardboard Box” alongside their debut EP The Lead in 2022. The song peaked at number 76 on the UK Singles chart, and NME ranked it as number 32 on the 50 best songs of 2022.

FLO’s EP The Lead was released on July 8, 2022 with five tracks: “Immature”, “Summertime”, “Feature Me”, “Another Guy”, and the aforementioned single “Cardboard Box”. The EP received positive reviews with Complex UK calling it an “essential listen”.

On July 6, the trio added a bonus track for 3 Of Us. On Instagram, the band announced, “The bonus track for our latest EP, Suite Life featuring our girl ibebellah is out now stream herrrrr!” The bonus track is titled “Suite Life (Familiar)” which features UK R&B artist Bellah.

The Isle of Wight 2023 headliners were announced as Pulp, George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers and Robbie Williams. FLO has since joined the line-up with other announced performers, NDubz, Example, Anne Marie, Sam Ryder, Blondie, Niall Horan, James Bay, One Republic, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ella Henderson, Scouting For Girls and many more. The festival is scheduled to take place 15-18 June at Seaclose Park in Newport, Isle of Wight.

The British girl group from London, who were formed in 2019, consists of Renée Downer, Jorja Douglas and Stella Quaresma. Their debut single ‘’Cardboard Box’’ was released 24 March 2022, after they signed with record label, Island Records. Throughout their career so far, they have worked closely with UK chart topper, Mnek, with him producing their debut EP, except from the track ‘’Another Guy’’ . The trio released their debut EP, The Lead, in July 2022. The ‘Happi remix’ of their debut single ‘’Cardboard Box’’ become the number one used sound on Tik Tok UK, when a creators dance routine went viral. The song on Tik Tok now has 1.2 million videos using the sound. The group made their television debut performing their single ‘’Cardboard Box’’ on US late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and later performed the song the following month on UK show, Later…with Jools Holland.

At the end of January, FLO announced their 2023 North American Tour. Before heading to the states, FLO will perform in London at the Here at the Outernet venue and at Manchester’s New Century Hall. The North American tour will kick off in Atlanta, Georgia in April. They announced the news to their social media, with the caption

FLO recently won the Rising Star award at the Brits 2023. Nia Archives and Cat Burns were also short listed for this years award. The previous winners of the award have gone on to form incredible careers, such as Adele (2008), Emeli Sandé (2012), Florence and the Machine (2009), Ellie Goulding (2010), Sam Smith (2014), Jessie J (2011) and Tom Odell (2013).

In a statement to the Brits, the girl group reflected on their big win: “From growing up watching the BRITs, to finding each other and forming FLO, releasing our first body of work in 2022 and winning a BRIT award in the same year!! We are so shocked and grateful. We are the first group to win the BRITs Rising Star! We’ve just made history and couldn’t have done it without our wonderful fans and supportive families. It’s truly a dream come true. We feel so empowered creating the music we love and we hope others feel that too.”
