The 15,000 fans in the arena will enjoy the incredible spectacle up close, and fans at home won’t miss out either, with Formula 1 broadcasters from around the globe confirming they will televise the event live. It will also be streamed for free on F1’s social media channels, including Youtube.

A source told The Sun: “Formula 1 fans are in for a massive treat at the O2. Not only will they be seeing the cars and drivers up close, but Take That will be playing. There are some other big-name stars booked, too. It is the first time in Formula 1 history that they’ve put on an event like this and it’s all to celebrate 75 years of the sport. The organisers think Take That will really lift the event.”

This is set to be an eventful few days for the Mancunian band as they’re also set to perform at the BAFTA Film Awards on February 16.

Gary, Howard and Mark will be back on the road later this year with a world tour for their latest album ‘This Life’. The trio is set to grace the stage without former bandmates Jason Orange and Robbie Williams. Where the latter went onto release a four-part series released on Netflix back in 2023, deep diving into his time in Take That from the age of 16 up until his exit. Williams speaks openly about his time as a performer as well as his mental state at the time, leaving the band five years after joining due to his issues with addiction and alcoholism.

The singer has since then released a biopic movie called Better Man where he explained the reason why he decided to showcase himself as a monkey. In an interview with BBC, he said: “I’m just like a performing monkey or I’m up the back like a performing monkey”.

Take That is set to take over our screens within the next few days before taking over the world with the tour, with most of the dates being sold out already, tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.

Hamilton has proved to have the style and look of an artist, but does he have the talent?

Hamilton has been working on his songs from the studio “Hamilton records” (originally built mostly for his ex-girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger). He gave a tour of his private studio CBS, also playing them clips of his tracks “J’Adore” and “Lookin’ at you” which he claims to be “R&B styled”. In an interview with Charlie Rose the three time F1 champion stated “Music’s been a huge passion of mine since I was really young, I started playing guitar when I was thirteen.”

Hamilton also talked about how he wants to apply his sportsman work ethic to the music he makes but he has no plans to release anything soon. However in an interview with James Corden on The Late Night Show, he stated that he would be releasing music later on in 2016.

He stated: “I never thought I would have people following me. You know, fans. I want to share it with them, I want to see what they think. My work ethic is exactly the same here as it is on the racetrack. But it’s just here I can be me.”
He clearly is passionate about his music and is committed to the project stating in the interview with Rose that when he isn’t training, he’s in the studio working on his tracks: “The plan was that it always started as a hobby but it’s got to a point now where it’s very serious … If I’m not training, getting ready for the race, I’m here.”

Total Access has reported that even Tinie Tempah is impressed with Hamilton’s music and is actually encouraging him to release it. Tempah stated: “It’s really, really good. It’s interesting. I’m curious to see how people will react to it.” In an interview with James Corden he even mentioned that he’s shown his music to Kanye West who also thought it sounded good.

Hamilton has had a good year so far, winning his second consecutive win with his 2015 title making him a three-times F1 Champion and is a contender for the BBC’s Sports Personality of the Year. His racing career means he hasn’t got as much time to be at home or in the studio, however Hamilton has proven to be committed and persistent in making his music career a successful one. So will his effort zoom him into the fast lane in the music industry? Only time will tell with the release of his material in 2016.
