Emma Blackery, rising pop sensation, recently announced a HMV in-store tour along with her headline UK and European tour, which begin in September and October respectively. She has recently released her brand new single ‘Take Me Out’, from her forthcoming debut ‘Villains’ which is due to be released on the 31st of August through RWG Records.

In support of her debut album, ‘Villains’, release the Essex-born singer announced a HMV in-store tour which begins on the 31st of August 2018 in Southend and concludes on the 6th of September 2018 in Belfast. The in-store tour will consist of Blackery, 26, performing songs live, from her debut album and signing copies of ‘Villains’.

Following the HMV in-store tour, Blackery will hit the road on an extensive headline tour across the UK and Europe, which is set to begin on the 4th of October 2018 in Oslo and concludes on the 25th of October in London. Tickets can be purchased here.

“I haven’t been on the road since last May or June. It’s an entirely different sound. Just being out there and performing for people and hearing them sing along, it’s the best feeling. I come alive when I’m out on that stage, I become this confident person that I wish I could always be,” says Blackery.

Blackery’s newly released single ‘Take Me Out’ was produced by Toby Scott, who has produced songs for the likes of Little Mix, Girls Aloud and The Saturdays. Scott is also behind Blackery’s recent singles ‘Icarus’, ‘Agenda’ and ‘Dirt’, which are all on her forthcoming debut album ‘Villains’.

Regarding the single Blackery, said: “I’m really excited for everyone to hear it. It’s a song I really connect with and one of my favourites from Villains. The song deals with feelings of paranoia when you are feeling exposed and isolated by your friends.”

‘Take Me Out’, has featured on six Spotify ‘New Music Friday’ playlists including the UK, is a massive pop banger which is full of attitude and boasts a huge chorus.

‘Villains’ is a record influenced by a period of reflection and one that invites listeners on Blackery’s journey from, as she said: “feeling so paranoid that I risked becoming a person I didn’t like, to letting go of all of that hurt”.
