Dua Lipa released a new song on the 4th of June. The new track – “Can They Hear Us?” – appears on the soundtrack of “Gully”, the debut feature movie from film director Nabil Elderkin. This director has previously worked with Dua Lipa on her video clip for “Don’t Start Now”. The soundtrack of the movie also features songs by 21 Savage, ScHoolboy Q, Ty Dolla $ign, Miguel, Gary Clark Jr., Buddy, and more. Travis Scott also appears in the movie, although he is not part of the soundtrack team. Listen to “Can They Hear Us?” here:

Recently, UK Warner Records’ boss Joe Kentish said that Dua Lipa is already thinking about her third album. After the success of “Future Nostalgia” released in early 2020, the British pop star is apparently thinking of album number three “sooner rather than later”. Kentish also promised that the record would be “something completely different and at scale.” He added: “She’s taking time to fully realise the album conceptually, but her belief in herself and the belief that she can pull off something completely different and at scale has only grown.”

Earlier this year, this body of work awarded the singer with the Grammy Awards’ Best Pop Vocal Album, along with many other wins of these prestigious awards. She also performed a medley at the ceremony which included the hits “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating”. After the success of “Club Future Nostalgia” – a remix version with the Blessed Madonna- Dua Lipa released three more singles, which are included in the “Moonlight Edition”: “We’re Good,” “Not My Problem,” and “If It Ain’t Me”.

On the same day of the release of “Can They Hear Us?”, the singer of Albanian origin also released the official video of her hit song “Love Again”, which you can see below.
