The upcoming project will be the 21-year-old’s third project following his debut release Double-Tap Diaries and sophomore project Made In the Pyrex. His last two projects have both had commercial success, with his debut reaching number 11 after its first week of sale and his second project reaching the Top 5 and debuting at number 3 on the charts. Diggas’ commercial success is undeniable with 3 Top 10s, 3 Top 20s and 5 Top 50 singles in his 5-year long carer that first saw him chart in 2019.

Digga released his latest singles “Pump 101” which he released over a month ago and found success through TikTok trends with the track sitting on 7.6 million youtube views and 13.5 million Spotify streams, with the track debuting at 9th on the official charts having spent 6 consecutive weeks in the charts.Digga also released “G-lock” alongside American sensation Moneybagg Yo which dropped a week ago and sits on over a million views and over a million Spotify streams.

The viral track “Packs and Potions” was released 3 weeks ago after the Liverpool rapper went viral on social media site Tiktok with his verse on a u-18 BlackBox cypher, which was originally uploaded on YouTube. The freestyle was uploaded onto streaming sites under the title “Lone Ranger” and managed to reach 61st in the official charts after picking up 3.4 million streams on Spotify alone.

The video for the official track sits on 3.8 million views just 3 weeks after release, and on the Liverpool rapper’s own channel.  It also found itself at 26th on the official charts on its debut week before jumping 8 places to 18th on the second week. The release of the remix at midnight will hopefully aid the track to fly up the charts.

The remix of “Packs and Potions” has a very impressive feature list, the first feature Digga D is one of the biggest rappers not only in the drill scene but in the UK scene as a whole. The west London rapper kicked off 2022 with the release of his highly anticipated track “Pump 101” and managed to earn his 3rd top 10 with the track debuting on the charts at 9th. Unknown T is the next feature, and after a year that saw the rapper saw release a top 10 project but also sell out a nationwide tour and a feature in the Louis Vuitton campaign, the remix will be the rapper’s first appearance of 2022. M1llionz is the final feature, with the northwest Birmingham rapper appearing on the track for the first time since the release of his GRM daily duppy in December 2021.

The features on the upcoming remix includes a number of rappers from different areas of the UK, all with very unique styles and flows. The remix is set to release at midnight and with the original being available to listen to here.

The jumpy track features Digga and ArrDee over a Jacob Manson and Finn Wigan beat, which was a rework of the classic garage anthem ‘Heartbroken’ by T2.

Digga opens the track by speaking over the beat and says “My dads from East, which makes me a real geezer fella’. The track cover art is a Stella Artois can with changes made to fit the track and the whole song in general plays into the ‘geezer’ persona.

The track suited the pair who both have fun in their music as they celebrate the sesh on ‘Wasted’. Diggas flow which he credits to fellow west Londoner ‘Aj Tracey’, and lyrics are one that fans have seen on tracks such as ‘Bringing it back’ another high energy tune.

ArrDee is known for his party lyrics and tends to stray down the content of partying and girls in his lyrics never claiming or pretending to be something he isn’t.

ArrDee is from Brighton and embodies the seaside town with his electricity and excitement on tracks and via his social media. The 18-year-old first made his mark with his freestyle on Mixtape madness named ‘Cheeky bars’ which he released 6 months ago and currently sits on 4.7 million views.  He then took himself to international levels with his verse on the remix of the chart-topping track ‘Body’, his lyrics “Adeola wanna roll with a geezer” took over the internet going viral on Tiktok.

Digga had been quiet since the release of his tape ‘Made in the pyrex’ which he released in February and peaked at 3rd on the official charts and sat in the charts for 13 weeks. This collaboration is his first track since and is set to be the highest new entry on this week’s charts.

Following a 15-month prison stint, the multi charting artist was followed by a crew who documented his journey following his release, including being placed in a hostel in Norwich, over 100 miles away from his home in Ladbroke Grove, constant police stops and strict parole conditions all at the same time as he was releasing and recording music that would make him one of the biggest names in the UK rap scene.

Via video chat at a virtual Bafta TV awards the director Marian Mohamed gave a “big up to the cast, Digga D for trusting me with his story”. The documentary was the young Directors first project and in her acceptance speech she thanks the BBC for giving her the opportunity and makes note of how hard it was to get her first break,” I wanna say a massive thank you to the BBC for kickstarting my directing career, it’s been hard getting a first gig so thank you for your amazing support”. His latest album was captured being recorded on the documentary in his homemade studio in a house in Norwich that he was made to stay in.

 The Drill artist has gone from strength to strength since his last release from Prison, releasing his latest tape ‘Made in the Pyrex’ which charted at number three, with four singles charting in the top 30, ‘Chingy’, ‘Woi’, ‘Bluwuu’ and ‘Bringing it back’. Diggas single with AJ Tracey ‘Bringing it back’ being the most successful charting at number five.
