The night of the 6^th will host a headline concert by Jamaican-American saxophonist Masego, with support from an array of upcoming UK artists. Nubiyan Twist, Poppy Adjuha, Ego Ella May and Jaz Karis are the announced names, with a ‘Very Special Guest TBA’ also. The night of the 8^th is dubbed ‘A Soul Sunday All-Dayer’ with performances from breakthrough act of 2006 Corinne Bailey Rae, 90s hitmakers Soul II Soul and eclectic British funk group Cymande. Performances from Lynda Dawn and The New Regency Orchestra are also scheduled.

The venue behind these events is teeming with historical notoriety after famed performances throughout the 70s to the 90s from the likes of The Beach Boys, Bob Marley, Gil Scot Heron and Pink Floyd. The open-air amphitheatre venue was a pioneer in the one-day festival format, hosting numerous garden parties until it fell dormant, hosting its final big gig in 2005 with headliners Coldplay. The last few years have been that of no concerts for the famous venue until the announcement of South Facing Festival, the result of crowdfunding for a new stage which is set to bring new life to the heritage site.
