Foo Fighters have announced their 2024 UK stadium tour, dubbed the Everything or Nothing at All tour.

The UK shows are set to take place across June of 2024, with them visiting London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Cardiff along the way.

The band took to Twitter to share a promotional tour video to get the UK fans hyped for the shows to come, with tickets already being on sale.

This tour follows their explosive Glastonbury performance which was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews. In a set that the Guardian declared “recaptured their very essence,” frontman Dave Grohl promised to return to the UK, and as highlighted in a tour press release, he is “making good” on this promise. Though Grohl may have humbly travelled to Glastonbury by train, his performance solidified him as the star that he is.

Taking to Twitter once again, the Foo Fighters shared another UK tour-related video with the message “We’re coming back next year for a whole fucking tour so you can come back and see us then.”

The Everything or Nothing at All tour will see the band’s longest stretch in the UK since the release of their eleventh studio album in June 2023, But Here We Are. Met with critical aclaim, But Here We Are was their first album release since the death of their longtime drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

The support acts for the tour have already been announced, with the Foo Fighters being joined by Wet Leg, Hot Milk, Courtney Barnett, Honeyblood and Shame.

Legendary British rockers The Rolling Stones have built themselves an all-star line-up for their forthcoming performances at Hyde Park on London on June 25th and July 3rd. Having hand-picked some of rock music’s brightest and boldest, the line-up will include artists and bands such as The War on Drugs (pictured above), Phoebe Bridgers and Sam Fender. Ticket information can be found here.

Having already announced Echo & The Bunnymen as the openers for their Liverpool show as part of their 6oth anniversary tour, this new announcement only piles on to the excitement. The performance on June 25th will be supported by The War On Drugs, Phoebe Bridgers, Kelly McGrath, Vista Kicks and JJ Rosa, and the July 3rd show will be supported by Sam Fender, Courtney Barnett, The Flints, The Dinner Party and blues guitarist and singer Christone “Kingfish” Ingram.

For this tour, The Rolling Stones have made a necessary line-up alteration in light of the recent passing of drummer Charlie Watts. Veteran drummer Steve Jordan, who has previously performed with the likes of Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton and the John Mayer trio will perform in Watts’ stead on this tour. Jordan previously joined the Stones on their US tour last year when Watts initially stepped down from the role.

As we’ve already hammered home, the openers for these Hyde Park performances are enough to get any indie rock fan doing cartwheels. There’s a lot to discuss with the recent activity of these bands and artists, but to cover the basics; The War on Drugs released their fantastic fifth album I Don’t Live Here Anymore last year in late October, receiving widespread critical acclaim. You can check out the title track down below.

Indie sensation Phoebe Bridgers has been busy with several projects since the release of her emotionally stirring 2020 sophomore album Punisher, including a contribution to The Metallica Blacklist with a cover of “Nothing Else Matters” and an appearance on Taylor Swift’s re-recorded second album Red (Taylor’s Version) on “Nothing New”. Most recently, Bridgers released a new song entitled “Sidelines” which you can listen to below.

Sam Fender, as anyone and everyone might know by now, has been making waves with his stunning 2021 debut Seventeen Going Under, and Courtney Barnett recently released her third studio album Things Take Time, Take Time in November of last year, to largely favourable reception from critics and fans alike. You can listen to the title track from Sam Fender’s Seventeen Going Under, and “Rae Street” from Courtney Barnett’s Things Take Time, Take Time down
below.

The Melbourne singer songwriter has unveiled a video for Avant Gardener taken from her debut LP, The Double E.P: A Sea Of Split Peas.

Having spent the last few years perfecting her sound, a combination of folk, country and psychedelic, and is now ready to show it to the world when the album drops later this month. The album is made up of both new and old songs, with the first six tracks brand new whilst the last six are taken from her debut E.P, I’ve Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris. The album on the whole covers many different genres and tells many different stories, allowing for an album full of gifts for all who listen. Anonymous Club shows Barnett at her most romantic, with her bold, strong voice going through the motions of a night with a loved one, and one where you can really sense the lyrics mean something to her.

It’s one of the main attractions about Barnett, the fact she wears her heart on her sleeve and puts her emotions into words. They’re emotive and clever, and shows a wiseness about her that defies her 25 years. Avant Gardener shows this, telling the story of how a simple bit of gardening leads to a panic attack. It might sound crazy, but listening to the lyrics (and the Pulp Fiction reference) reveals the story, and leaves you reaching for the repeat button. The video is a little bonkers, with a seemingly peaceful tennis match ending up in a brawl after the line judge, buried in his book, misses a tight call. You want to watch this now, so you can below.
