With extra support coming from American Grindcore band Full Of Hell, and Hardcore duo Petbrick, the tour will take place from November 5th – 13th, you can look into full information here.

Converge is continuing its hot streak towards the end of the summer, with a support slot for the one and only Meshuggah. The tour is set to take place from September, 16th – 30th, alongside Inn Flames and Torche. You can try and snap up any remaining tickets for the Winter shows here. Converge and Meshuggah were set to go on tour together last December. Still, the tour was postponed after one of Meshuggah’s members was announced to be “undergoing medical treatment related to a skin condition on his hands”. Converge then had to pull out of the rescheduled dates due to a conflict with their own tour dates.

The clash in question was Converge’s split headline tour with Chelsea Wolfe performing their most recent effort Bloodmoon: 1. Converge members and long-term musical partners (American singer and musician Chelsea Wolfe and her collaborator Ben Chisholm with former Converge member and Cave In vocalist Stephen Brodsky) played as a seven-piece and performed a set full of revised Converge songs.

Converge have been churning out music pretty consistently since the mid 90’s. After their debut, Halo in a Haystack, was met with only lukewarm reception; they quickly turned to reinventing their sound to one that very quickly melded the group’s signature blend of Mathcore and Hardcore. In 2001 they released their now seminal classic, Jane Doe, an album that is an essential listen to any hardcore music fans. Even Bloodmoon: 1 received pretty good levels of praise last year, considering the lifespan of the group that’s something that not many bands can boast. “We wanted to do something grander than the typical four-piece Converge music,” frontman Jacob Bannon said in a press release. “Our dynamics are pushing and pulling in all different directions on this record, and I find that to be creatively rewarding.”

Among the leading headliners appear Opeth, Tesseract, and Chealsea Wolfe—along with numerous rock acts—who will rock out at Fernhill Farm, Bristol from August 20 to 22. Tickets to the festival are already on sale via the official site.

ArcTanGent is a rock music festival held annually at Fernhill Farm near Bristol. First emerged in 2013, the festival—despite focusing on independent rock acts—has gained much popularity in the UK music scene, with an accolade as Best Small Festival from the UK Festival Awards 2018 and a nomination for the Best Line-Up award.

The festival is made up of five alternating stages, with Arc as the main one for big headliners. It also features a silent disco from 11pm to 3am every night after all the performances, alongside a variety of food and bar vendors and camping. Also, the festival promotes itself for the “friendliest and most chilled audience” one will ever find at any festival.

Opeth, a progressive metal band from Stockholm, is this year’s main headliner that will take over the Arc stage. Formed in 1989, the band has released over ten studio albums, with their twelfth LP Sorceress (2016) as their most successful record in the UK. It reached number 11 on the UK Albums Chart, spawning singles such as the title track, “Will O the Wisp”, and “The Wilde Flowers”.

Apart from the Swedish rockers, gothic rock singer/songwriter Chelsea Wolfe has been recently announced as one of the leading names to headline the Fernhill Farm festival. She is a 36-year-old musician from Sacramento, California who has been in the gothic rock scene since 2010. In spite of being acclaimed among the underground music scene, Wolfe has embarked on tour around the globe, gaining many followers for her eccentric music that blends folk with electronics and heavy metal. Last year, she just released the sixth LP titled Birth of Violence, which she will bring the songs to the stage at the festival.

Elsewhere on the bill, two American metal bands Bell Witch and Aerial Ruins will collaborate for the metal fans at the festival. Also, there will be performances from The Hyena Kill, Petbrick, Teeth of the Sea, Bristol electronic duo Luo, and many more.
