Posting on Instagram, the band wrote: “We’re very pleased to announce our headline UK & Ireland 2021 tour dates in celebration of the release of our debut album ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ released on Friday 16th July.” 
Fans who pre-order the album can access a pre-sale of tour tickets on Wednesday 24th March. General sale is on Friday 26th March.

Inhaler recently released their eighth single, Cheer Up Baby, which is taken from the new album. They performed the track on The Late Late Show with James Corden, and it was named as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World. The video for the single was directed by Joe Connor, who has also worked on videos for Biffy Clyro and Coldplay.

Lead singer Elijah Hewson told NME: “It’s always been a cornerstone song for us and our fans are always talking about it. It’s a love letter to our fans and that’s why we wanted to choose it to open up the album.” 

“Lyrically, a lot of young people in these times are dealing with mental health issues and they can get stuck in their own heads. I think that’s what this song is, it’s loosely based on a conversation between two people and a lyric that goes ‘when I think of all the things I didn’t do, I can’t help but blame it on you’. 

Inhaler formed in 2015, and is made up of bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson and drummer Ryan McMahon alongside Hewson. They placed fifth in the BBC Sound of 2020 poll. The group were shortlisted for a MTV PUSH Award, and won the Music Moves Europe Talent Award 2021. Hewson is the son of U2’s Bono.
