BST Hyde Park Lineup, Tickets And Dates Revealed

The BST Hyde Park festival will soon turn a decade old and to celebrate that, the festival is inviting an equally excellent lineup of tremendous musicians to headline. BST Hyde Park will be headlined by mostly pop and rock legends this year. Here are the upcoming headliners for this upcoming festival.

Compared to last year’s festival with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, The Rolling Stones, Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Barbara Streisand, Lionel Richie, Adele and so many more artists who truly lit up England’s capital city, this year’s festival will have no problems making such a beautiful event like this, difficult to forget.

One of the lineups will include pop legends, Take That, singer and pianist Billy Joel, rock ‘n’ roll legends, Guns N’ Roses, and K-pop superstars BLACKPINK will all be one of the many headliners this summer.

Pop icon, P!NK will headline two shows as she delivers ‘Summer Carnival’ to London, and rock icon, Bruce Springsteen will also make an appearance in two shows alongside the E Street Band marks his first-ever BST debut. The last remaining headliner is yet to be announced soon.

As for supporting acts, there are a few artists that will officially make an appearance at this coming summer festival. The artists that have been named so far are Hall & Oates’ Daryl Hall for Billy Joel, Gwen Stefani for P!NK, Sabrina Carpenter, upcoming English pop-singers Caity Baser and Mae Stephens, and South Korean indie rockers for BLACKPINK, The Script and Sugababes for Take That, plus plenty more of supporting acts yet to be revealed.

The BST Hyde Park festival spans across three weekends in the summer. The first festival will commence on Friday 23 June and will conclude on Saturday 8 July. Here are the dates for each headliner performing.

Ticket purchase wise, there is a usual mixture of ticket types which varies in prices, providing different access and experience to the event. Celine Dion Reschedules UK and European Tour Dates in Light of Health Issues

Celine Dion has rescheduled the UK and European leg of her Courage world tour due to her ongoing health issues. The dates had already been postponed once due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first is scheduled to begin in Prague on February 24 in 2023 and will run until a pair of London shows on April 10 and 11. Come August, Dion will start the next set of shows in Amsterdam. She will then tour the continent until she closes out the tour with two shows in Helsinki on October 3rd and 4th.

The star told fans in an emotional video posted to Instagram “Hi everyone – well, here we are again and I’m so sorry that we have to change our tour plans for Europe one more time, First we had to move the shows because of the pandemic, now this is my health issues that is causing us to postpone some shows.

The statement continued: “Unfortunately, we have to cancel some too. The good news is that I’m doing a little bit better. It’s going very slow and it’s very frustrating for me. I’m getting treatment from my doctors, taking medication, but I’m still experiencing some spasms and it’s taking a lot longer for me to recover than I had hoped. I need to be in top shape when I’m on stage. I honestly can’t wait. But I’m just not there yet. Just telling you how I feel – and I wanted you to know that I’m sorry for this news. I know you’ve all waited so long for the concerts and I appreciate your loyalty. By now I am convinced that you should be so fed up with all of this and waiting for so long. But all I can say is that I’m doing my very best to get back to the level that I need to be so that I can give 100 per cent at my shows – cos that’s what you deserve.”

Dion also thanked fans for their support, and also expressed her support for Ukraine at the end of the video. “I hope and pray that this war ends soon, Sending you all my love and prayers for peace.”

Stevie Wonder Announced as Last BST Hyde Park Headliner and he will be Supported by Lionel Richie

Stevie Wonder has been announced as the last headliner for British Summer Time Hyde Park 2019, and he will be supported by Lionel Richie. The legendary singer is scheduled to take to the Great Oak stage, on the 6th of July 2019, to perform a show that has been described as a, “Celebration of Life, Love and Music,” throughout his whole career.

The festival is returning for its seventh year, to Hyde Park, between the 5th of July and the 14th of July 2019. The event will see music lovers enjoy performances from the biggest names out there today to handpicked rising-stars from the heart of the nations capitol. Tickets will go on sale, on Friday the 29th of March 2019, at 9am, with general admission tickets starting at £69.95.

Speaking about his performance, and what can be expected, Stevie, said: “We’re living in a time where there’s so much is going on in the world. But the one thing that we know for sure that we can celebrate is life, love and music. I’m very thankful that you all have been so wonderful to me, giving me your life and allowing me to share my music with you since I was 11 years old, which was just a little ago. So, we’re just going to play and have fun.”

Meanwhile, Senior Vice President of AEG Presents, James King, said: “There are headliners, great headliners, line ups, stellar line-ups and a thousand other adjectives we use but we will never find the one that correctly describes what will be happening in Hyde Park on Saturday July 6th. Stevie Wonder is singing his biggest hits for his very own Song Party and for good measure, and to our mutual amazement, joy and wonder, he is also bringing his good friend Lionel Richie. See you down the front.”

The soul icon will be joining an already stellar line-up, which includes performances from Celine Dion, Florence and the Machine, Robbie Williams, Celine Dion, and Barbra Streisand. It has also been confirmed that British Summer Time would host a co-headline performance from Bob Dylan and Neil Young.

Since the announcement the singers dropped their association with the festival, after Young objected to Barclays sponsoring the festival. Young called into question British Summer Time’s “fossil fuel entity” sponsorship, with Barclays. However, it has been revealed the performance will go ahead, as planned, just without the support of British Summer Time.

Opening the event, at Hyde Park, will be superstar Celine Dion, on Friday the 5th of July 2019, and she will be joined by special guests. Following on from, global megastar, Celine Dion, will be followed by performance by the legendary Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie, on Saturday the 6th of July 2019. They will be followed by the multi-talented Barbra Streisand tops the bill, on Sunday the 7th of July 2019, with special guests still to be announced. Set to follow, on Friday the 12th of July 2019, is Bob Dylan with his band and Neil Young with Promise of the Real.

Meanwhile, hugely successful band, Florence and the Machine will headline the event, on Saturday the 13th of July 2019. They will be supported by The National, Lykke Li, Khruangbin, Blood orange, Nadine Shah, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Let’s Eat Grandma, and Goat Girl. Finally, concluding the seven day event is headliner, Robbie Williams, on Sunday the 14th of July 2019. He will be supported by the Black Eyed Peas, Keane, Texas, and Feeder, with more still to be announced.
