A recent report from the music licensing company Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) reveals that the UK’s favorite Bob Marley track is the 1980 hit ‘Could You Be Loved’, which has been played an average of 15 times per day since the start of the century.Bob Marley passed away on May 11, 1981. His death was caused by malignant melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer that began as a spot on his toe and eventually spread throughout his body. Starting November 15 in Yeovil, Somerset, the tribute band will tour several places in the UK and finish their set at KOKO, in Winehouse’s Camden.

 “This winter, we are hitting the road for a UK tour to honour Amy’s incredible music, her life, and the lasting impact she left on all of us. From soulful ballads to unforgettable anthems, we’re here to celebrate Amy with the fans who know and love her best.” The band wrote on Instagram.
KOKO, Camden will offer two dates on December 20 and, the already sold-out, December 21.
“London, you’ve shown so much love. We’re beyond grateful, and we can’t wait to end the tour on a high with you all.” They added.
Aside from KOKO, the band will also appear in Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.

Last year, the cover band experienced similar success with their winter tour as KOKO was immediately sold out then too. Camden Town seems to draw the biggest influx of Winehouse’s fans.

The band will return to the UK after a nearly 9-month-long tour between 03/02/2024 to 26/10/2024, which included several shows in the UK, France, and Netherlands.

They were also seen attending the ‘Back to Black’ premiere, a biographical drama film based on the life of the English singer-songwriter, and returned to Poole for Winehouse’s birthday show.

Amy Winehouse died in July 2011 in Camden Town, London. The band consists of Amy’s original band, led by her long-term musical director/bass player Dale Davis and a close friend from the very start of her musical career. With the spectacular vocalist Bronte Shandé in front, the band celebrates Amy Winehouse’s music and legacy and keeps her spirit alive.
