English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding will be releasing her fourth studio album ‘Brightest Blue’ on 17th July 2020, and now fans are delighted to hear her announcement that she will tour in 2021. Arriving in the UK in April for seven shows, Goulding has planned an incredible tour travelling around the UK and Ireland.

The artist shared her excitement on social media, revealing that the shows will be intimate, and distances. “The feeling I get from my new album is that people get to immerse themselves into a world of hope despite everything being so bleak, you have to tear through your own demons to get to the other side but also realising that you can free yourself from toxic relationships!”, she explained, continuing, “Looking forward to finally being able to see you all and be with you once again.”

‘Brightest Blue’ will be Goulding’s first full length release since 2015’s ‘Delirium’. Consisting of eighteen tracks, the album will include numerous singles such as ‘Worry About Me’, ‘Power’, and ‘Hate Me’. Each single has received an amazing reception, gaining millions of views on YouTube for the music videos. ‘Hate Me’ features Juice WRLD and currently possesses 79 million views, having been out for nearly a year already.

Throughout lockdown, Ellie Goulding has been working on new music and promoting the album, as well as planning her tour. Not only this, but the singer has had the chance to focus on other projects, like her philanthropy. She does plenty of work to help save the planet, preventing climate change and saving animals, as well as showing support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement.

Despite not being able to play live just yet, Goulding recently reminisced on her past performance and Glastonbury festival, which took place online last week. Calling it her “proudest moment of my career”, she watched as the set was featured on the Glastonbury Experience.
