Knocked Loose Announce a UK and Europe Tour for Spring 2025

The Kentucky hardcore punk band, Knocked Loose have announced their biggest and most exciting headline tour to date, taking place throughout the United Kingdom and Europe during Spring 2025.Known for their iconic tracks, ‘Counting Worms’, ‘Blinding Faith’, ‘Mistakes Like Fractures’ and ‘Don’t Reach For Me’, Knocked Loose are set to perform across ten cities throughout the UK and Europe, including the iconic and prestigious O2 Brixton Academy in London and the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

Knocked Loose have created a reputation for being fierce performers, they have recently completed two sold-out tours in the US, performing their newest album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, which released May of this year.

Alongside this reputable tour, the hardcore punk band have also recently supported legendary heavy metal band, Slipknot on their recent tour which celebrated the 25^th anniversary of their 1999 debut album, Here Comes The Pain.

As their shows get bigger and better, Knocked Loose, with the help of their recent release, have cemented their artistry to prove their vital presence in the hardcore punk scene.

This forthcoming tour will see Knocked Loose be supported by English rock band Basement, known for their tracks ‘Disconnect’ and ‘Be Here Now’. Along with Chicago hardcore punk band Harm’s Way, known for ‘Become a Machine’ and ‘Silent Wolf’ and lastly, Leeds hardcore punk band Pest Control, known for their tracks ‘Enjoy the Show’ and ‘Masquerade Party’.

Comprised of vocalist Bryan Garris, guitarists Isaac Hale and Nicko Calderon, bassist Kevin Otten and drummer Kevin ‘Pacsun’ Kaine, Knocked Loose emerged into the industry in 2014, with the release of their debut EP Pop Culture. Later going on to release their debut album in 2016 titled Laugh Tracks which features ‘Counting Worms’ followed by their sophomore album, A Different Shade Of Blue, which was released in 2019.

With over a decade of perfecting their songwriting, instrumentation and musicality, Knocked Loose are renowned for their experimentation and creation of heavy and challenging sonics.

This upcoming tour for Spring 2025 is long-awaited and an exciting moment for fans of Knocked Loose. Pre-sale will commence October 23 at 10am local time, or alternatively general sale will begin on October 25 10am local time.

American Football Announce 2024 UK Tour Dates To Commemorate 25th Anniversary Of Debut Album

American Football, the seminal Midwestern emo outfit, has revealed plans for a UK tour in 2024, commemorating the 25th anniversary of their eponymous debut album. Renowned for their introspective lyrics and intricate melodies, the band will headline the Sunday slot of Outbreak Festival in Manchester on June 30. Following this, they will embark on a series of shows in September, including performances at Rock City in Nottingham on September 11, Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on September 12, and the Roundhouse in London on September 14. Their announcement marks the latest lineup reveal for Outbreak Festival, where American Football is set to close the event on June 30, alongside headliners Action Bronson on Friday and Basement on Saturday.

These landmark performances will pay homage to the 25th anniversary of their 1999 self-titled debut album, affectionately known as ‘LP1′. In a statement shared via Instagram, American Football expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “We’re thrilled to be going back to the UK this summer / fall for a few very very special shows to commemorate the 25th anniversary of LP1! Outbreak passes are available now and tickets for headline shows go on sale Friday 10am (if you’re on the mailing list though look out for a link sometime this week…)”

Pre-sale tickets for the September dates will commence at 10 am GMT on Wednesday, January 31, with general sale starting at 9 am GMT on Friday, February 2. Tickets for the UK tour can be purchased here, while tickets for Outbreak Festival are already on sale here.

Formed in Urbana, Illinois in 1997, American Football consists of frontman Mike Kinsella, guitarist Steve Holmes, and drummer Steve Lamos. Despite disbanding shortly after their debut album, the trio reunited in 2014, releasing subsequent albums ‘American Football (LP2)’ in 2016 and ‘American Football (LP3)’ in 2019, further cementing their place in the emo genre.

Beyond their musical contributions, American Football recently made headlines with their purchase of the house featured on their debut album cover. This symbolic purchase, jointly orchestrated by the band, Polyvinyl Records, and collaborators, was spurred by the impending sale of the property. Located at 704 W. High Street in Urbana, the house has evolved into a symbol of the band’s identity and holds profound significance for both the band and their fans.

As anticipation builds for their UK tour, the acquisition of the historic house serves as a poignant reminder of American Football’s enduring musical influence and the milestone represented by their 25th anniversary.

Outbreak Festival 2024 Initial Lineup Announced

Outbreak Festival has officially unveiled the initial lineup of artists set to perform at its upcoming 13th edition. Scheduled to unfold in Manchester from June 28 to 30, 2024, the festival is set to retrace its steps to its original Manchester venue, the Bowlers Exhibition Centre, after its 2023 stint at Depot Mayfield. The announcement comes via an Instagram post from December 15, setting the stage for what promises to be a prominent fixture in the hardcore and counterculture scene.

Rock band Basement are the sole headliner announced so far, marking their third appearance at the festival after performing both in 2015 and 2022. The excitement is only set to escalate as the anticipation builds for the June weekender, with three additional headliners yet to be announced.

The Friday lineup boasts a diverse array of musical talents, featuring JPEGMAFIA, Flatbush Zombies, The Garden, Redveil, MAVI, and King Isis.

The excitement continues with a multigenre array of performances on Saturday and Sunday, showcasing talents like Soccer Mommy, Show Me The Body, Poison The Well, Angel Du$t, Mannequin Pussy, Ceremony, Touché Amoré, Movements, Incendiary, Mindforce, and more.

Other performers include Balance and Composure, Bodyweb, Chat Pile, Demonstration Of Power, Fiddlehead, Higher Power, Hot Mulligan, Teenage Wrist, The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, amongst others.

Adding a touch of nostalgia, Outbreak Festival presents special anniversary sets from Joyce Manor, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the seminal album ‘Never Hungover Again,’ American shoegazers Nothing performing ‘Guilty of Everything‘ from 2014, and The Hotelier marking a decade of their second album ‘Home, Like Noplace Is There.’ New Jersey post-hardcore artist Thursday will also contribute to the sentimental vibe with a set comprising tracks from their acclaimed albums ‘War All The Time‘ and ‘Full Collapse.’

Reflecting on the success of the 2023 edition, headlined by US hip-hop acts Denzel Curry and Death Grips, along with Converge and Bane, Outbreak Festival remains committed to its diverse lineup and its roots in hardcore and alternative music. Hailed as “the heart and soul of hardcore” in Huck magazine, it is a staple in the calendar for enthusiasts in the hardcore and counterculture scenes.
