The upcoming Nu King world tour will mark the “Talk Dirty To Me” singer’s first appearance in the UK in 5 years, following his 2Sides world tour in 2018.

Derulo has not released a studio album since 2015’s Everything Is 4, however, this year the Florida born singer excited fans by releasing two solo singles, “Glad U Came” and “Slow Low”. In addition to this, Derulo has recently collaborated with Dido on the track “When Love Sucks” and DJ David Guetta on the track “Saturday/Sunday”.

The 33-year-old pop star shared earlier this year in a conversation with The Sun‘s Bizarre column, as quoted by Yahoo that he is working on his first studio album in 8 years, and will be pleasing fans by releasing new music every month.

“I finally see eye to eye, there’s gonna be more music than ever. I’m actually going to be releasing a song every single month. I’ve got some really, really exciting material as well as a really cool project which is an audio experience that has never been accomplished before.”

I addition to actively releasing music, Derulo has been busy with his new BBC Three talent show Project Icon, which launched in March. The singer created the show alongside his manager Frank Harris, and the pair starred as judges on the talent show alongside pop star Becky Hill. The show follows 10 aspiring artists competing for a single deal on Derulo and Harris’ own music label, Future History Records.

Ahead of the show’s release, Jason Derulo told NME “We are searching for tomorrow’s next superstar, and hopefully making someone’s dreams come true.”

Tickets for the upcoming Nu King tour will go on sale on Friday 22nd September, and will be available here. There will also presale tickets for select dates of the tour available on Wednesday 20th September at 10am.

After moving the tour dates Snoop said “My biggest priority is to keep my team and my fans safe, due to ongoing issues with the pandemic we have to push back again to make sure we can go to every country on the tour in a safe way. IT’S GOIN DOWN NEXT YEAR!”.

The tour is in celebration of the West Coast rapper’s 17th album I wanna thank me, an album that will celebrate 25 years of the rap legend.

Snoop has enlisted a number of west coast rap legends to join him on his tour. He will be joined by Warren G, Tha Dogg pound, Obie trice, D12 and Xzibit.

Snoop was born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr. in Long Beach, California, on October 20, 1971. His nickname, Snoop Dogg, came from his mother because she thought he looked like Snoopy from the Peanuts cartoon. He played the piano and sang at his local Baptist church, before starting rap in sixth grade. After graduating high school, Snoop was arrested several times for drug possession and spent time in prison. He was also associated with the Rollin’ 20 Crips Gang.
He started making music as a way out of his troubles and recorded early demos with his cousin Nate Dogg and friend Warren G as 213. A track on one of these came to the attention of Dr. Dre, they collaborated on a song called “Deep Cover” for the soundtrack of the film for the same name; and Snoop became the key rapper on Dre’s hugely successful first solo album, The Chronic, in 1992.

Snoop was first discovered by fellow rap royalty, Dr Dre in the early 1990s, appearing on the producers classic album The chronic in 1992. The rapper has gone on to sell millions of records, appear in some of the biggest movies and ultimately solidify himself as not only rap royalty but entertainment royalty

He is loved by hip-hop fans worldwide, and is one of the most recognizable faces and voices of the whole genre, even to those who don’t listen to his music. He has the accolade for having the most Grammy nominations of any music artist,17 to date, without having won one. But as Snoop Dogg shows few signs of retiring, don’t write him off just yet.

The Co-Op Live arena is set to be situated on the Etihad Campus, which is also the site of the football team Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium in the Eastlands of Manchester. The venue will be the largest music arena in Britain, reportedly seating 23,500 at capacity which is over 2000 more seats compared to Manchester’s AO arena (the currents largest arena) which seats 21,000. London’s O2 Arena is the current 2nd largest with a 20,000 capacity.

Harry Styles started his career as a contestant on the X-Factor, after he was eliminated, he was brought back with 4 others to form the boy band One Direction. One Direction had great success in their time together with 4 albums (all reaching great successes and becoming chart-toppers) before one of the 5 members (Zayn Malik) and a final 5th album which again topped charts around the world before the band went on hiatus.

Styles went on to become a solo artist and even featuring in movies. His most recent album ‘Fine Lines’ reached critical success being at number 3 in the UK and topped the US charts breaking the record as the biggest sales debut from an English male artist with singles such as ‘Adore You’ and ‘Watermelon Sugar’. Another of Styles’ accomplishments was featuring in the movie Dunkirk as Alex.

Talking to NME Styles commented on the status of the new arena saying “As long as everything’s in order by 2023, hopefully they’ll me play there. If I haven’t messed up’. Hopefully, this means that Styles’ tour will not only return (His tour is scheduled to continue in 2021, dates may change due to the pandemic) but we may see him being one of the first artists to perform in Manchesters new arena.

Styles also joked with NME recalling his first job being a paper delivery boy for his local Co-Op “Maybe the first show they’ll make me deliver the papers to every seat”. Co-Op Lives’ new arena will no doubt be a refreshing sight for the music industry with the pandemic putting other venues at risk of closing. not only will it help the music industry it will also open up thousands of new jobs and help local businesses as it will allow large groups to flock to shows and will host vendors and other shops to support businesses.
