The UK leg kicks off on May 22 in Glasgow at the O2 Academy Glasgow. From there, they will perform at Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield on May 24 and Slam Dunk Festival North in Leeds on May 25. They wrap up their UK dates on May 26 in Tilburg at the 013 Poppodium before heading to France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, and more. Cities like Berlin, Budapest, Barcelona, and Munich will all host the band before the tour concludes in Leipzig at Impericon Festival on June 15.

Tickets for the tour have been in high demand with presale already happening Wednesday, March 5. With many fans securing their spots during the presale, the general sale starts on Friday, March 7, at 10 am local time, giving those who missed out another chance to attend. Special guests for select dates include Polaris, Boston Manor, and Terror, making for an even more exciting lineup.

A Day to Remember, often referred to as ADTR, formed in 2003 in Ocala, Florida. They quickly gained recognition for their unique ability to blend heavy breakdowns with catchy, radio-friendly choruses, creating a sound that set them apart in the alternative scene. Their breakthrough came with the release of ‘For Those Who Have Heart’ in 2007, but it was ‘Homesick’ in 2009 that truly launched them to international fame. Songs like ‘The Downfall of Us All’ and ‘If It Means a Lot to You’ became instant fan favourites shaping the 2000s punk music scene for many. 

The band continued their rise with ‘What Separates Me from You’ in 2010, which featured the hit ‘All I Want’, and ‘Common Courtesy’ in 2013, which included ‘Right Back at It Again’. Over time, they experimented with more mainstream rock influences, leading to the release of ‘You’re Welcome’ in 2021, a more polished, alternative rock-focused album. Despite these shifts, ADTR remains a powerhouse in the rock and metal scene, consistently delivering music that connects with fans of both heavy and melodic sounds. 

The tour itself comes in support of the band’s upcoming album, ‘Big Ole Album Volume 1’, which is set for release on March 21. Their latest singles, ‘Make It Make Sense’ and ‘Lebron’, have already given fans a taste of what to expect. ‘Make It Make Sense’ blends emotional lyricism with hard-hitting, instrumentals, bringing back the mix of intensity and melody that made them famous. Meanwhile, ‘Lebron’ showcases the band’s heavier, slightly more pop-punky side with aggressive riffs and anthemic vocals, proving they can still deliver the high-energy sound that longtime fans love. With new music on the horizon, this tour will be the perfect opportunity for ADTR to debut fresh tracks alongside their biggest hits.  

With presale already concluded and general sale beginning on March 7, excitement is at an all-time high. As A Day to Remember prepares to bring their signature intensity to stages across the UK and Europe, fans will be eager to witness their explosive live show once again.

However, the band still seems to plan to reschedule the European shows, as the statement announces: “We’re still working hard to reschedule the rest of the dates and tickets will still be honored when that happens. The ongoing pandemic has not only interrupted A Day To Remember’s touring plans, it has also put a hold on releasing their upcoming album. Speaking to NME earlier this month, frontman Jeremy McKinnon revealed that the release day is still uncertain due to the current situation.“It’s still up in the air, everyone obviously wants it to come out as soon as possible but we’re going with the flow here. We’ve almost got all the masters in, I’m expecting them any time now. We’re still trying to get our artwork done”, he told the magazine. The singer is aware that “that’s been annoying fans, but we have such a thing going. Every ADTR record has had these cool silhouettes that are unique to them and then, just because we were lazy and didn’t like people yelling at us, we just didn’t do it for ‘You’re Welcome’ yet.” According to McKinnon, about 30 or 40 songs have been demoed for the newest album.

And who knows, maybe this collection of new songs will make up for the cancelled shows, though it is a shame that we won’t have the chance to experience those new songs live (yet).

Following the collaboration with American producer Marshmello on ‘Rescue Me’, back in June, they announced the release through their Twitter account, saying, “So stoked that our new song ‘Degenerates’ is finally out! Give it a listen or two or three”.

Recently, A Day To Remember announced an upcoming tour October 6 to November 23 called ‘The Degenerates Tour’, and they’ll be performing alongside I Prevail and Beartooth. The Reading and Leeds Festival runs from August 23 to August 25. The three day event will see A Day To Remember supporting Foo Fighters, and will also be welcoming acts including The 1975, Royal Blood, Bastille, Post Malone and Twenty One Pilots.

Back at the beginning of August, the band announced an upcoming Autumn tour, entitled ‘The Degenerates Tour’, playing alongside I Prevail and Beartooth. I Prevail continue to promote their second album ‘Trauma’, released back in March.

The premiere of a new single titled Paranoia back in March sparked rumours that a sixth album was well underway, and yesterday fans were given a real treat: a confirmed album release date, title, tracklisting PLUS a preview of the album’s titular song alongside a video – listen here!

What we’ve seen so far of Bad Vibrations‘ album artwork is reminiscent of 2009 album Homesick, perhaps indicating that the band have dropped the somewhat simplistic approach they had adopted for the cover art of Common Courtesy.

A Day To Remember are due to tour the US this summer alongside fellow rockers Blink-182, who are scheduled to release their elusive comeback album on July 1st. Despite a noteworthy lack of festival appearances this summer, UK fans need not fret: a Bad Vibrations tour will almost certainly be on the cards as the release date for the album draws nearer. Additionally, A Day To Remember have two consecutive appearances lined up in the UK next week; the band are billed to perform at BBC Radio 1’s “Rock All Dayer” on Wednesday 8th June and will be co-headlining a set at the Kerrang Awards on Thursday 9th June.

Fans were not disappointed today when the show premiered a brand new single from A Day To Remember, entitled Paranoia, which encapsulates their distinctive style with heavy vocals and bold, thrashing instrumentals. This is the first new material from the band since 2013 album Common Courtesy, causing a flurry of excitement as well as fueling rumours that a new album isn’t far off.

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1, vocalist Jeremy McKinnon said:

We’re just putting out this one song for fun. I mean, I think this is fun. We’ve actually never just come out of nowhere and been like ‘Here’s something new.”

A Day To Remember are due to headline Self Help Festival, which is an annual event independently organised by the band that began back in 2014. Bands such as The Story So Far, The Wonder Years and Issues are among those joining A Day To Remember on the line up this year. The festival -located at the Nos Events Centre in San Bernadino, California – will take place in several weeks, commencing on March 19th.

There is currently no official word from the band confirming the production of a new album, so fans are very much in the dark. However, Paranoia may be enough to tide them over after a 3-year wait – for now!
