Taking to social media, the band said “Can’t wait to spend time on tour with all you beautiful people.”

This will be the band’s most ambitious tour yet, aiming to pack the best of their 5 albums into one show. Frontman Luke Hemmings said on Instagram, “My only regret is that I won’t be able to watch this show.”

In addition to their tour announcement, the band also revealed their plans to release a live album this month. The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall will be released digitally on 14th April 2023. Physical copies of the album will be made available for purchase on 14th July 2023. The live album was recorded during a one-night-only show in 2022 in which the band performed alongside a 12-piece string orchestra and a 12-member gospel choir.

The show at The Royal Albert Hall included a mix of their biggest hits spanning their 5 albums, as well as some deeper album tracks for their true fans, with this being a particularly special venue for the group. 5SOS shared that they busked outside the venue when they first moved to the UK to write their first album 10 years ago.

On stage, drummer Ashton Irwin said, “‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards’ is simply supposed to describe to you the feeling that we have experienced together, the feeling of taking a leap of faith on such a fickle thing like music and sharing this experience together year after year, season after season of our lives.”

The tracklist for The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall is below:

1. OVERTURE
2. COMPLETE MESS
3. CAROUSEL
4. Me, Myself & I
5. She Looks So Perfect
6. Amnesia

5 Seconds of Summer has announced the postponement of their ‘No Shame‘ UK Tour to April 2021. All dates were previously scheduled to kick off this month, with seven shows in big cities across the country. The band took to their social media, giving out the news and apologising for pushing back their shows.

The Australian pop rock phenomenon firstly sent out their love and care for all fans around the world during this difficult time of quarantine. They also thanked everyone who supported their latest album, ‘CALM‘, as they said, “To see the support that you’ve given has made us really appreciate how lucky we are to have the best fan in the world.”

However, the four-piece imparted bad news about the necessity to reschedule all tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic: “For the safety of all involved and following government action, these shows are no longer safe to play and therefore the UK & European No Shame Tour will be rescheduled for April/May 2021.”

The “She Looks So Perfect” hitmaker also encouraged everyone to “work together to beat this virus“. They added, “We are so grateful to anyone who purchased a ticket. Please hold on to them for the rescheduled headline dates in 2021.” See the full statement from the tweet below.

Back in March, 5SOS unveiled their fourth studio ‘CALM‘. The album debuted atop the UK Albums Chart, marking the band’s second number-one album in the country, with their sophomore record ‘Sounds Good Feels Good‘ as the first one to hit the summit in 2015.

The record is a follow-up to 2019’s pop-leaning album ‘Youngblood‘. “Easier” is cut off as the lead single, followed by “Teeth“, “No Shame“, “Old Me“, and “Wallflower“. All songs from ‘CALM‘ saw the band perfect their pop sound into their punk rock signature, which received positive reviews from leading music critics with the likes of Billboard, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit.

The ‘No Shame‘ Tour is 5SOS’s latest headlining tour in support of ‘CALM‘. Originally set to begin on May 12 in Belfast this year, the first date is now moved to April 7, 2021 at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, followed by six more shows—including one at SSE Arena, Wembley, London. Tickets purchased for the original dates are eligible for the rescheduled ones.
