Limp Bizkit performed their highly-anticipated set at Reading Festival on Saturday August 23, the third day of the festival. In a festival headlined by Chappell Roan, Bring Me The Horizon and Travis Scott, Limp Bizkit’s set stood as one of the highlights of the weekend. Limp Bizkit played the Main Stage, the set before Bring Me The Horizon played the headline show to finish the night’s performances. During the stage, one lucky fan was brought onto stage to perform the hit ‘Full Nelson’, alongside frontman Fred Durst.

Limp Bizkit performed some of their hit songs from the 90’s, creating a highly energetic set full of nostalgia. Their performance began with the anthem ‘Break Stuff’, and ended with ‘Take a Look Around’, a single from their third album ‘Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water‘ and made famous as part of the soundtrack to the 2000 film Mission: Impossible 2. They also played their most well known song ‘Rollin’, alongside an AI endorsement of the band by Billie Eilish. In the middle of the set, Fred Durst scanned the crowd before spotting somebody to bring up on stage. The young fan, named Brooke, took to the stage with confidence and didn’t look out of place on the Main Stage, rocking with the band. Watch the epic moment below on YouTube, taken from @CHINNERSROCKS141169 channel:

Brooke rocked this performance and looked like a full member of the band, knowing all the lyrics and taking part in call-and-response moments with Fred Durst during the song. She brought an infectious energy and added to the buzz around Reading Festival. As the guitars kicked in, she jumped alongside Durst with infectious enthusiasm, quickly becoming the centre of attention.

As well as Brooke’s awesome performance, the band also looked for moments of humour. During the set, Fred Durst announced that during the headline set, all of Bring Me The Horizon’s merch, as well as the beer, would be free. Limp Bizkit also displayed AI generated ‘endorsements’ of the band from famous artists such as Oasis, Chapell Roan and Oli Sykes (frontman of Bring Me The Horizon).
During their performance of ‘Faith’, a cover of the classic George Michael song, they also displayed an AI endorsement from the Wham! frontman. George Michael has been critical of the release of this cover, with Wes Borland (the band’s guitarist) claiming that Michael “hates it and hates us for doing it”, adding to the humour displayed during the set. During the performance of ‘Take a Look Around’ the stage adopted an Oasis-themed backdrop, exciting and confusing the crowd. Bring Me The Horizon added to this energy when they performed a thrash cover of Oasis’ iconic song ‘Wonderwall’.

The last of the Glastonbury 2025 tickets have been sold, with the final batch of resale tickets selling out within 20 minutes after “incredible demand”. The general admission tickets for the famous festival were released at 9AM on Sunday 27 April. They were then all gone by 9:20AM, showing the sheer demand from fans to be a part of the event.

The first round of tickets was released on Sunday, Nov 17, before the lineup was confirmed. This didn’t deter any keen festival goers, as they were all sold out in under 35 minutes.

Writing on their official X account, Glastonbury confirmed that all tickets had been bought, and offered their sympathies for those who couldn’t get them: “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have been sold.

“Thank you to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those who missed out.”

— Glastonbury Festival (@glastonbury) April 27, 2025

This year, Glastonbury introduced a new queuing system for those trying to get tickets. Rather than constantly hitting refresh to access the booking page, everyone who is already on the page will randomly be assigned a place in a queue once ticket sales begin. Instead of being shown a number indicating their place in the queue, customers could keep track of their progress through a grey bar on their screen – the further along the queue, the more green blocks appear over the bar.

Some fans vented their frustrations on the ever-stressful efforts to get Glastonbury tickets, with some users on X posting memes about the process and the new loading bar system.

Seeing those two green bars again #Glastonbury pic.twitter.com/NrNHmCKDGh — Anthony (@salmontub) April 27, 2025

Those who succeeded in the Glastonbury tickets release are in for a treat this year, with a quality lineup full of influential icons and fresh new talent. Neil Young has already been confirmed as the headliner for the Pyramid stage on Saturday, after originally pulling out due to the “corporate turn-off” of the festival’s partnership with the BBC.

The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo will headline the same stage, with Matt Healy’s band taking Friday while Rodrigo takes Sunday. Other confirmed acts for the legendary festival include Charli XCX, The Prodigy, Loyle Carner, Rod Stewart, Doechii, RAYE and more. You can see our latest coverage on the Glasto line up here.

This year’s festival has already generated considerable buzz, with Jeff Lynne’s ELO performance set to be his last before stepping back from playing live.
Tickets for his Hyde Park appearance will also go on general sale this Friday (21 March), again at 10am, with prices starting at £79.95 plus booking fees. This price places Wonder in the middle price bracket, just below Sabrina Carpenter and Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts, and Zach Bryan’s second show. The only cheaper tickets are for Noah Kahan (£69.95).

The announcement of Wonder, and his wider tour, caused huge excitement online, with plenty of fans sharing their anticipation. In response to a question about whether the ‘Superstition’ singer still “had it”, one Reddit user quickly confirmed that he definitely did, explaining his own experience and saying, “Did Stevie struggle on a few runs? Yes, but he is also still going for the craziest vocal runs with no hesitation.”

Between Wonder slowing down his touring, and BST Hyde Park’s headliners selling out all but one show, fans wanting to see him live will have to act quickly to secure tickets. Although he has other dates around the UK, the London show will be the closest for any fans in the south of England. Tickets for his BST Hyde Park shows will be available here.

Set to take place between 24 and 27 July, the Oxfordshire festival will feature a newly announced electronic stage featuring viral DJ Fish56Octagon. Also announced is The Rockin’ Chair comedy stage, returning for the fourth year since it was first introduced in 2022.

This announcement builds on the festival’s first announcement back in November. Despite the numerous additions to the lineup, the headliners remain unchanged. Nothing But Thieves will be performing their only UK show of the year, Bloc Party will be playing their iconic 2005 album, ‘Silent Alarm’ in full, and Kasabian and Courteeners complete the headline acts. Announced in the first wave were also variety acts such as Mr Motivator, Barioke and the Oxford Symphony Orchestra, all of whom are returning from the 2024 iteration.

With the new additions, the 2025 lineup now consists of 87 musical/variety performers, and 16 comedy acts. This is significantly less than last year where they had more than 130 performers and 19 comedy acts. The announcement suggested that more artists would be announced between now and July, and organisers have yet to announce all of the stage splits. One X user queried whether Red Rum Club would be appearing after they were included on the festival’s official 2025 Spotify playlist, though no trace of the inclusion can be found now.

One of the standout acts from the second wave is Fish56Octagon, a DJ with over 1 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. Often donning his dressing gown and eating Weetabix, the former marketer grew into a viral sensation by showcasing his extensive dance and electronic record collection, and has since played Glastonbury, Creamfields, and Boomtown, as well as touring the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Response to the headliners has been mixed; however the sub-headliners have drawn significant interest, with Redditors looking forward to sets by Sports Team, Hard Life and Maximo Park. The Slates will also be joining the festival for the second year in a row, and their announcement had plenty of fans excited, with one X user saying, “Cracking news guys! Last year was incredible.”

Truck Festival has an average attendance of 20-25,000, drawing in crowds from around the South East. Along with the announcement of the additional artists, Truck Festival also took to social media to announce that they had fewer than 200 tickets left, and despite the indifference shown by some toward the headline acts, a sell out seems likely.

The festival started in 1998 after the organisers felt that most major UK festivals had grown too mainstream. Like Glastonbury, the festival takes place on a working farm, limiting the size and any plans for expansion. The first year saw eight acts take to the only stage at the festival, though it had expanded by the second year, now featuring two stages and being held across two days. 1999 had 38 acts and tickets cost just £5, compared to this years £200+.

Taking place across the same weekend as Tramlines and Latitude Festival, Truck Festival will be hoping to provide a unique experience, blending rock, indie, electronic and comedy acts to an audience just as unique. Whether further surprises regarding the lineup are in store or not, anybody wanting to attend will need to act quickly to secure tickets.
