Former-Smiths front man, Morrisey, has announced UK tour dates for later in the year following the release of his new album ‘Make-up Is A Lie’. The singer has announced that he will play five dates this December 2026, across the UK.
His recent release of his 14th solo album in March via Sire Records has already set up booked performances across Europe this summer. The album marks his first full-length studio release in over four years with featured production from Joe Chiccarelli. The twelve-track album includes the following songs:

- Notre-Dame
- Amazona
- Headache
- Boulevard
- Zoom Zoom The Little Boy
- The Night Pop Dropped
- Kerching Kerching
- Lester Bangs
- Many Icebergs Ago
- The Monsters Of Pig Alley
The absence of his former Smiths members is undoubtedly apparent since his solo journey, such as his strong creative partner and guitarist, Johnny Marr. However, the album show cases the song-writing skills that he has always mastered, with moments of excitement, inspiring melodies and dramatic performances allowing for Morrissey to maintain his iconic sound and character.
The album also sees the return of guitarist techniques from Alain Whyte, who played with Morrissey from 1991 until 2004, embracing old sounds from the two. His addition undoubtedly sparks a fire in the sound of the album, making the performances exciting ones for long-time fans of Morrissey. The addition also helps steer former fans that distanced themselves after the singer’s controversial political pivots, taking them back to an old time that consisted of more positivity and joy.

The confirmed dates for the UK tour include a string of cities across the month of Decemeber. He kicks off the tour in the Brighton Centre on the 6th, then to Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on the 10th and Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena two nights later.
He then goes further up, and sees fans at the OVO Hydro, Glasgow on the 16th where he then concludes his tour in Leeds at the First Direct Bank Arena on the 19th.
