Fresh off the back of a pyrotechnic-laden set at Download Festival last weekend, German electronic metalcore party crew Electric Callboy have announced a set of UK arena shows for the start of next year. The shows are the next step in the band’s ‘Tanzneid’ tours, supporting their new album which is due in August.

Electric Callboy are just wrapping up their summer festival commitments in their usual excess – last week they played sets at Germany’s Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring, France’s Heavy Week-End and Czechia’s Rock For People before travelling to Donington for a main stage show at Download. Their shows packed with heavy pop covers, frequent costume changes, plus obscene amounts of lights and fireworks have made them highly in-demand with booking agents worldwide.
As a result of their ever-rising profile, their UK headline shows have been few and far between – their last was a single massive takeover of London’s Alexandra Palace in November last year. Now into their second year of the Tanzneid World Tour, Electric Callboy have laid down plans for the start of 2027 with the new UK and Europe run.
The arena tour was announced yesterday, and is set to start next January in Dublin, followed by shows in Manchester, Nottingham, Bournemouth and Cardiff, before heading over to mainland Europe. In the post announcing the shows on Instagram, there is dismay over the lack of a Scottish show, with commenters writing the message “No Scotland, no party“. The full tour list is as follows:

Their seventh album ‘Tanzneid’ was announced back in April, with several singles available so far including ‘Elevator Operator’, ‘Tanzneid’, their cover of Sum 41’s ‘Still Waiting’, and April release ‘Hypercharged’. The band put out lively new single ‘Let The Good Times Roll’ and its music video last week, which features pop punk heroes The Offspring, making for an upbeat, bouncy summer anthem. ‘Tanzneid’ is out on Century Media on the 7th of August, with the band celebrating it with a huge show at Berlin’s Escalation Fest on the release day.
Tickets for the Tanzneid World Tour UK and Ireland dates go on sale tomorrow, the 17th of June, at 3pm. Be quick, these will sell out!
