Cara Delevingne has announced her first ever headline shows launching her music career. The English model and actress will be preforming in major cities over the summer including Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, Los Angeles, London and New York. One of her Barcelona shows includes preforming at Primavera Sound festival. The tour will begin in Europe on the 1st of June and end in North America on the 26th of June.
The British star rose to fame early in her childhood, modelling for Vogue Italia at the age of ten. Then in 2012 she shifted to acting with her first role as Princess Sorokina in the movie Anna Karenina. She has since continued to model and act, only occasionally singing as a part of wider projects.
Delevingne took to Instagram to post her tour dates and said “Excited to announce my first ever headline shows!!!! Been locked in at rehearsals I can’t wait to play these shows.” She also stated “Music. It’s forever been my biggest fear and my greatest love. I Forgot and Out of my Head are the first peek inside my stream of consciousness over the last few years. I cannot quite believe we are finally here.”
Although an album hasn’t been released yet, Delevingne has shared teasers of her music confirming three new songs, being ‘I Forgot’, ‘Out of my Head’, and ‘CARA’. A snippet of ‘Out of my Head’ can be heard above on Delevingne’s Instagram, containing a series of obscure clips, potentially hinting at a future music video.
While modelling and acting have been her main focus over the years, Delevingne has dabbled in music before. She previously sang ‘I Feel Everything’ for her 2017 movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which can be seen here on YouTube. As well as many other tracks, she also collaborated with her former partner St Vincent and featured on the song ‘Pills’. However, her singing hasn’t always been limited to features, as in 2024 she starred as Sally Bowles in ‘Cabaret’ in the west end where she showed off her vocal skills.
As of now an album name or release date is unclear, but her other songs can be listened to on Spotify and other streaming platforms. Presale for tickets will begin tomorrow on the 30th of April while general sale will begin on the 1st of May the following day. More details regarding her shows can be found here on her website.
