Tor Maries first emerged onto the scene with her self-titled debut album in 2020. The record quickly gained attention for its biting social commentary and minimalistic instrumentation, earning her a dedicated following. Tracks like ‘No’ and ‘Supermarket Sweep’ showcased her ability to mix in-depth lyricism with infectious melodies, solidifying her as a fresh and rebellious voice in the alternative music scene. 

In 2021, she collaborated with Sleaford Mods on the track ‘Mork n Mindy’, further establishing herself in the UK’s punk indie scene. Later that year, she released the ‘Emergency Telephone’ EP, a DIY project that highlighted her knack for crafting compelling songs with limited resources. Then, in 2023, she followed up with ‘CACTI’, an album that expanded on her signature sound while delving deeper into themes of isolation and personal growth. Recorded partly in her flat and at Bristol’s Invada Studios, ‘CACTI’ was met with success, further elevating her status in the indie world. 

With the release of ‘Metalhorse’, Billy Nomates is set to push her sound even further. The album’s first single, ‘The Test’, offers a rebellious and defiant energy, hinting at what fans can expect from the full record. She has teased on Instagram the track list but while details about the album remain limited, her past work suggests that listeners can anticipate more of her sharp lyricism, genre-blending production, and fiercely independent spirit. 

Following the album’s release, she is scheduled to headline Ritual Union Bristol in late March before heading to France for a solo performance at La Route du Rock. In April, she will also appear at Cro Cro Land Festival. While a full tour has not been announced, these performances suggest that more live shows could be on the horizon.

Billy Nomates has always positioned herself as an artist unafraid to challenge conventions, both musically and thematically. From her early days crafting lo-fi punk anthems to her evolution into a more expansive and experimental sound, she continues to grow while staying true to her roots. ‘Metalhorse’ is likely to be another step in that journey, showcasing her evolution while maintaining the raw honesty that has always defined her work. As the release date slowly approaches, anticipation is building, and if her previous albums are any indication, ‘Metalhorse’ will be another striking addition to her discography. 

The UK leg kicks off on May 22 in Glasgow at the O2 Academy Glasgow. From there, they will perform at Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield on May 24 and Slam Dunk Festival North in Leeds on May 25. They wrap up their UK dates on May 26 in Tilburg at the 013 Poppodium before heading to France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, and more. Cities like Berlin, Budapest, Barcelona, and Munich will all host the band before the tour concludes in Leipzig at Impericon Festival on June 15.

A Day to Remember, often referred to as ADTR, formed in 2003 in Ocala, Florida. They quickly gained recognition for their unique ability to blend heavy breakdowns with catchy, radio-friendly choruses, creating a sound that set them apart in the alternative scene. Their breakthrough came with the release of ‘For Those Who Have Heart’ in 2007, but it was ‘Homesick’ in 2009 that truly launched them to international fame. Songs like ‘The Downfall of Us All’ and ‘If It Means a Lot to You’ became instant fan favourites shaping the 2000s punk music scene for many. 

The band continued their rise with ‘What Separates Me from You’ in 2010, which featured the hit ‘All I Want’, and ‘Common Courtesy’ in 2013, which included ‘Right Back at It Again’. Over time, they experimented with more mainstream rock influences, leading to the release of ‘You’re Welcome’ in 2021, a more polished, alternative rock-focused album. Despite these shifts, ADTR remains a powerhouse in the rock and metal scene, consistently delivering music that connects with fans of both heavy and melodic sounds. 

The tour itself comes in support of the band’s upcoming album, ‘Big Ole Album Volume 1’, which is set for release on March 21. Their latest singles, ‘Make It Make Sense’ and ‘Lebron’, have already given fans a taste of what to expect. ‘Make It Make Sense’ blends emotional lyricism with hard-hitting, instrumentals, bringing back the mix of intensity and melody that made them famous. Meanwhile, ‘Lebron’ showcases the band’s heavier, slightly more pop-punky side with aggressive riffs and anthemic vocals, proving they can still deliver the high-energy sound that longtime fans love. With new music on the horizon, this tour will be the perfect opportunity for ADTR to debut fresh tracks alongside their biggest hits.  

With presale already concluded and general sale beginning on March 7, excitement is at an all-time high. As A Day to Remember prepares to bring their signature intensity to stages across the UK and Europe, fans will be eager to witness their explosive live show once again. 

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Collins addressed fans directly, saying, “I know I don’t tour much, but this is my last. Touring in your seventies, it’s not for me. But my lovely band and crew, we’ll make this one special – love Edwyn x.“ He also confirmed that tickets will go on sale at 10 am on Friday, March 7.

The tour will begin on Saturday, September 27, at Glasgow’s Theatre Royal, before making stops in Buxton, Bath, Southampton, Brighton, London, Norwich, Manchester, and concluding in Newcastle at The Boiler Shop on October 8. This farewell run will give fans one final opportunity to witness Collins perform live before he steps away from touring permanently. 

Born in Edinburgh in 1959, Collins first gained prominence as the frontman of the influential post-punk band Orange Juice. The group helped shape the sound of the early 1980s, with their signature track ‘Rip It Up’ becoming a defining song of the era. After the band’s split in 1985, Collins embarked on a successful solo career, finding international fame with his 1994 hit single, ‘A Girl Like You’. The song, with its infectious melody and sharp lyricism, became a worldwide success and remains his most recognised track. 

Collins’ musical career has been marked by both triumph and resilience. In 2005, he suffered two severe cerebral haemorrhages, which left him with aphasia and required extensive rehabilitation. Despite the life-altering effects of his condition, he made an inspiring return to music, proving his enduring dedication to his craft. Since then, he has released multiple albums, each showcasing his ability to evolve while maintaining his distinctive sound. 

His latest album, ‘Nation Shall Speak Unto Nation’, set for release on March 14, 2025, marks his tenth solo project. The album features his newest single, ‘The Heart Is a Foolish Little Thing,’, which offers a reflective and deeply personal look at love and vulnerability. The track has been well received, praised for its beautiful lyrics and timeless sound, further proving that Collins remains as compelling as ever. 

With ‘The Testimonial Tour 2025’, Collins aims to celebrate his musical journey by bringing fans a setlist spanning his Orange Juice days, his biggest solo hits, and songs from his upcoming album. This final run of shows is not just a farewell but a celebration of his lasting impact on the music industry. 

For many, Collins represents more than just a musician—he is a symbol of perseverance, creativity, and authenticity. His decision to retire from touring is a practical one, but it is clear that his influence will continue to resonate long after his last live performance.

In the message, she wrote, “I hate that I have to write this again so soon. Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights. I can’t tell you how much this breaks my heart.” She continued, “This tour is something I’ve been dreaming of since the album came out and the shows we’ve played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you.”

 Abrams reassured fans that she and her team would provide updates as soon as they had details about rescheduled dates, writing, “The moment we have any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch.” She ended the note with, “Please know I’d give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding. I’m sending all my love and my deepest regrets. xxx, Gracie.” 

The news is disappointing for fans, but many have expressed support and concern for Abrams’ health, encouraging her to prioritise recovery on social media. This is not the first time she has had to cancel performances due to health issues. In October 2024, she postponed shows in New York and Philadelphia due to a vocal injury, which required her to take time off to heal. The demands of touring can be physically exhausting, and many artists, including Abrams, have had to step back at times to avoid long-term damage to their health. 

Abrams has been gaining recognition over the past few years for her deeply relatable songwriting and strong, emotional vocals. She first gained traction with her 2020 debut EP ‘Minor’, followed by ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ in 2021. Her debut studio album ‘Good Riddance’ was released in 2023, earning widespread praise for its in-depth lyrics and collaboration with producer Aaron Dessner. Her latest album, ‘The Secret of Us’, has been another major step forward in her career, featuring the hit single ‘That’s So True’ that took the internet by storm. Abrams has also gained a larger audience through her time as an opening act on Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ Tour. 

While the Nottingham and Leeds shows have been postponed, Abrams’ tour is expected to continue once she recovers. If she is well enough, she will resume performances with a show in London, followed by stops in Manchester, Cardiff and Dublin before heading to Glasgow. The tour will then move on to Europe, with concerts scheduled in Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Though the cancellations are disappointing, Abrams’ dedication to her fans suggests she will do everything she can to make it up to them. This year however, Biffy Clyro is set for a packed festival schedule, further solidifying their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting rock acts. They are headlining Scotland’s TRNSMT Festival, a major highlight of the summer circuit, bringing their signature anthems to a home crowd. One of the biggest surprises in today’s announcement is the addition of Limp Bizkit, the legendary rap-rock band known for hits like ‘Break Stuff‘ and ‘Rollin’. The band, led by frontman Fred Durst, has been making a resurgence in recent years, and their inclusion in the lineup is sure to draw a massive crowd especially paired alongside Bring Me The Horizon. Known for their high-energy performances and mosh-pit-inducing anthems, Limp Bizkit’s set is bound to be a highlight of the weekend 10 years on from their last performance at the festival. 

UK rap duo D-Block Europe is also joining the lineup, adding a strong hip-hop presence to the festival. The duo, consisting of Young Adz and Dirtbike LB, has gained a massive following with their unique rap style and chart-topping hits like ‘Overseas’ and ‘Darling’ featuring Central Cee. Formed in 2020, English Teacher comprises vocalist and guitarist Lily Fontaine, lead guitarist Lewis Whiting, bassist Nicholas Eden, and drummer Douglas Frost. The band originated at Leeds Conservatoire, initially performing under the name “Frank” before rebranding as English Teacher in 2020. Their early work, characterised by a blend of indie rock and post-punk influences, quickly gained attention within the UK music scene. 

Their debut studio album, ‘This Could Be Texas’, was released on April 12, 2024, via Island Records. The album showcases an eclectic mix of dreamy, atmospheric instrumentals, jagged post-punk rhythms, with political and social impressionistic lyricism. Presale for the ‘Psycho’ tour begins on February 27, with general ticket sales opening on February 28. Given his increasing global popularity and previous sold-out shows, tickets are expected to go quickly. Don Toliver, born Caleb Zackery Toliver in Houston, Texas, rose to fame in 2018 after Travis Scott featured him on ‘Astroworld‘s’ ‘Can’t Say’. That same year, Toliver released his mixtape ‘Donny Womack’, further showcasing his blend of rap and R&B.

In early 2025, Toliver collaborated with BTS’s J-Hope on ‘LV Bag’, a track produced by Pharrell Williams. The song debuted at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall-Winter 2025 fashion show in Paris on January 21 and was officially released on February 21. The collaboration blends Toliver’s signature sound with J-Hope’s dynamic Korean rap style, further expanding his international reach amongst English and non-English speaking fans.

With only three dates in the UK and Ireland, the ‘Psycho’ tour is set to be one of the most in-demand hip-hop events of the year. Given his reputation for high-energy performances and a growing international fanbase, these shows are likely to sell out fast. Noah Kahan comes all the way from Strafford, Vermont, and began his musical journey with the release of his debut EP, ‘Hurt Somebody’, in 2018. The title track, especially the duet version featuring Julia Michaels, achieved significant international success, charting globally and earning Gold status in the United States. This song blends folk-pop elements with raw and heartfelt lyrics, showcasing Kahan’s emotive vocal delivery and knack for creating emotional storytelling through lyrics. 

In 2019, Kahan released his debut album, ‘Busyhead’, which included tracks like ‘False Confidence’ and ‘Save Me’. This album continued to highlight his folk-pop style, characterised by introspective songwriting and melodic arrangements. His third album, ‘I Was / I Am’, followed in 2021, featuring songs such as ‘Godlight’ and ‘Someone Like You’, the latter a collaboration with Joy Oladokun who added beautiful countryesque vocals.  

However, 2023 marked a significant breakthrough for Kahan with the release of his single ‘Stick Season’. Inspired by the transitional period in Vermont between autumn and winter, the song resonated with a wide audience, capturing the feeling of change and uncertainty especially with the lyrics, “I hope this pain’s just passin’ through
But I doubt it”. Stick Season features acoustic-driven instrumentation, with a blend of folk and indie influences, and showcases Kahan’s vivid lyrical imagery. The track achieved considerable success, flooding all over social media and eventually reached the UK Top 10 in October 2023 and climbing to Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart in January 2024 marking a significant breakthrough for Kahan in the UK music scene.  

Looking ahead, Kahan has an eventful year planned for 2025. In addition to the Cardiff performance, he is set to headline London’s Hyde Park on July 4, where he will be joined by singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.
