The singer-songwriter from Liverpool has scheduled his upcoming album to be released on Friday the 4th September ahead of his tour that will begin the day after on the 5th. The album will be his first follow-up since his Top Five album in 2024, ‘For The People’. He will be kicking off the live tracks in Southampton in The 1865.

The tour is set to differ from his last live appearances where he played to huge crowds that ranged from a massive hometown performance and area-based visits. This year he will be playing intimate shows for his fans in smaller venues to showcase his sound in a comfortable and close environment.

The singer announced his tour and album just this week with the release of ‘Just Begun’, where he also released a groovy music video for the track. From press talks, Webster speaks of the album reflecting notions of identity and reflection, that nonetheless, still spotlights his strength as a songwriter that released classic indie anthems such as ‘Weekend In Paradise’ and ‘Allez Allez Allez’. When he spoke of the new release he said: “This album is about trying to make sense of it all – life, pressure, expectations, the way things are changing around us and still holding onto who you are through it.”

Founded in 2012, the festival has grown into a two-day celebration of electronic music and sound system culture, featuring house, techno, drum and bass, jungle, garage and hip-hop across multiple stages. From its early days in Castle Park through to Eastville Park, the festival eventually found a permanent home at the Ashton Court Estate where it hosts 860 acres on the edge of the city that has been visited by many, from Portishead to Robert Plant over the decades.  This year’s headliners included Sammy Virji, Confidence Man DJS, Chase and Status and more.

With Glastonbury taking a fallow year, Love Saves The Day has stepped up as the UK’s festival season opener, and the 2026 lineup reflected this. Temperatures hit 27°C across the weekend, and for the first time the main stage was powered entirely by solar energy. Saturday was headlined by Sub Focus, whose new audiovisual show drew in excited fans and festival goers. Sunday, last night, was handed to Sammy Virji to close up until next year.

The Birmingham DJ and producer has spent the last two years converting underground credibility into a bigger discography and performance scale. His reputation was originally built in clubs where selection and timing matter, as well as dancers and dark rooms but the qualities he had in those spaces translate well to a main stage for his recent appearances at festivals over the years. He moves between drum and bass, jungle, and garage with beats that always keep the crowd moving. The DJ also came out with an album last year, ‘Same Day Cleaning’.

At Ashton Court on Sunday evening, Sammy Virji’s set rounded off the hot, summery weekend with some of his most famous bangers. His top charted songs include ‘Find My Way Home’, ‘Shella Verse’ and ‘Cops and Robbers’, where he merges his house music sound with garage and drum and bass genres. The closing act was the finish Love Saves The Day needed to complete the bank holiday weekend for Bristol.

Love Saves The Day has always paired big headliners with upcoming UK talent and local collectives, reflecting Bristol’s dance and techno heritage. Virji closing the weekend confirmed his place among the most compelling live draws in UK dance music right now and the continuation of dance anthems in the UK.

The band have announced that they will perform three live shows in Spain this summer. The exciting news comes as the Dublin band haven’t performed since they rounded off their ‘Romance’ tour last August. The band’s last massive gig was in London’s Finsbury Park, which saw a new height of recognition after the release of their last studio album ‘Romance’ in 2024.

The last studio album, that truly put the band onto the mainstream pool of indie-rock contained charting songs such as the lead single ‘Starburster’ and the anthemic follow-up ‘Favourite’. The most streamed songs were also closely lead by ‘Bug’ and ‘In the Modern World’. The fourth album catapulted them into mainstream charts through their dramatic shift into sonically adventurous pop-rock and a cyber-punk sound that differed from their earlier classic Irish indie-rock albums such ‘Skinty Fia‘, meaning “the damnation of the deer” to solidify their punk aura.

The band’s Irish roots saw them reach the charts several times throughout their career, with tracks such as ‘I love you’ and ‘Jackie on the Line’ released in 2022. Lead vocalist, Grian Chatten’s voice is known for it’s distinctive thick Dublin accent where he incorporates sing-speak delivery that fans worldwide can love.

The live shows across Spain will see the band visit Cadiz, Alicante and Pamplona, which finally  rings their almost year-long hiatus to a close.

On social media, the band said:

“Spain. We are playing a few shows this August and can’t wait to return to a place that has always felt special to us,”

The band have described the new track as “blood, sweat and tears embodied and immortalised in sound”. The song comes as the third preview of their upcoming debut album, ‘Role Model Hermit’ which is set to be released on the 3rd of July with AMF Records. The already released songs, ‘Crash Landing’ and ‘Candelabra’ uncover the sound of the album. The lead single, ‘Crash Landing’ was described as a trip-hop influenced ballad, with vocalist Clari Freeman-Taylor stating the song is about “change and growth” and the exploration of vulnerable relationships.

In a press release the band expressed how the album is a “collection of dark fables”, that are set to tread the line between facts and fantasy.

The release of ‘New Muscles’, today, has only heightened excitement for the band’s live performances. The band has been known in the industry for their association with the indie genre, where they supported Wet Leg on their 2025 US Tour. Mary In the Junkyard already started playing the newly released track on the tour where it quickly became a fan favourite. It showcases a lighter, playful side of the trio and explores the drummer’s, David Addison, experience in falling in love with the gym.

The song has also been released with an accompanying music video, shot in south-east London, where bassist, Saya Barbagli and vocalist Clari Freeman-Taylor learned Muay Thai.

Their UK and Ireland leg kicks off in autumn, where they stop at London’s Heaven on September 30th. Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and Hitchin are also set to be visited by the band.

A leg of European shows are set to follow in early October, with concerts in Paris, Brussels, Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Mary In The Junkyard will then go on a tour in the US and Canada. These shows will include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York and Philadelphia.

His recent release of his 14th solo album in March via Sire Records has already set up booked performances across Europe this summer. The absence of his former Smiths members is undoubtedly apparent since his solo journey, such as his strong creative partner and guitarist, Johnny Marr. The album also sees the return of guitarist techniques from Alain Whyte, who played with Morrissey from 1991 until 2004, embracing old sounds from the two. His addition undoubtedly sparks a fire in the sound of the album, making the performances exciting ones for long-time fans of Morrissey. The addition also helps steer former fans that distanced themselves after the singer’s controversial political pivots, taking them back to an old time that consisted of more positivity and joy.

The confirmed dates for the UK tour include a string of cities across the month of Decemeber. He kicks off the tour in the Brighton Centre on the 6th, then to Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on the 10th and Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena two nights later.

He then goes further up, and sees fans at the OVO Hydro, Glasgow on the 16th where he then concludes his tour in Leeds at the First Direct Bank Arena on the 19th.

Underworld have teamed up with Dutch techno star KI/KI to deliver a track that showcases both of their dance sounds, with hard techno drums, euphoric synth sounds and a trancey bassline. ‘Arp12′ is the first release since 2024 and their first collaboration with the dance-music star, making the track a legendary record. The release of the track is followed by a set at EDC Las Vegas this weekend where the song and the set to be streaming online.

Earlier this year, the group celebrated 30 years since the release of their most memorable dance tune, ‘Born Slippy (Nuxx)’. They performed in various locations for fans in the UK to celebrate the famous track, with shows across London. The famously heard in ‘Trainspotting’ song was also gifted with a limited edition vinyl reissue late last year to further celebrate the iconic track.

As for the upcoming future for performances, the group are set up with a busy summer schedule where they will tour across Europe, North America and South America. The band are also headlining the popular bass-line filled festival, Creamfields, in August, alongside artists like Disclosure and Armand Van Helden. The tour starts today, May 15th and tour continues until October:

The boys from Leeds are finally returning to the release scene since 2024, with their third studio album set for release on the 17th of July 2026 via Island Records. Their last release was the record ‘Where’s My Utopia?’ back in March of 2024. The album explored a disco influence, with preceded singles defining the album including ‘Dream Job’ and ‘Petroleum’.

The band’s debut album, ‘The Overload’, showcased the band’s indie sound that blends a post-punk tone with angular guitars and spoken-word social commentaries. The 2022 record tackles themes of gentrification, capitalism and British societal issues and was ultimately nominated for the 2022 Mercury Prize. The title track, ‘The Overload’, gained attraction from its solid edge that instantly comments on division and struggle in Great Britain.

The band’s release of ‘Redeemer’, has already given fans a taste of the upcoming sound of the upcoming album, which is seemingly heading in a darker sounding direction. The track includes a stooping bassline, with electric guitar drives. On the album, Yard Act worked with Nine Inch Nails bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen, recording between LA and Leeds.

“The first two records were both laptop records essentially,” Smith said in a press statement, adding that ‘You’re Gonna Need A Little Music’ was written in an “uninterrupted five month period” of creativity. The band went on to produce “40 or 50 songs” from this time period, with Smith adding: “It felt like freedom. It felt like everything I’d wanted from being in a band”.

The band have also announced UK 2026 tour dates following the release of the album, with extended UK locations. These include an extra hometown show on November 7th, a Newcastle show on the 10th, Glasgow on the 11th, Leicester on the 16th and Cambridge on the 18th. They are more dates and locations including Bristol and the already announced London, Leeds and Manchester shows.

Noctis Magazine caught up with the dance musician where he explained:

‘I reached a point in my writing process where the tracks formed a cohesive story for me and I felt that was a good place to put the pen down and release this. When I work on albums, I tend to have a vision of the story I want to tell. This often changes during the process but when it feels right, I run with it‘.

With the announcement of the exciting 13-track record, he has appealed to worldwide audiences with the very special inclusion of British singer Melanie C on a song called ‘I Don’t Wanna Know’. Sanchez has put forward how he feels about the former Spice Girl, claiming:

‘When the Spice Girls first came out, I always felt she was underrated. There was such a power in her voice and I didn’t feel in the Spice Girls she got her due for how powerful her voice is.

‘She’s the bubbliest one of the group. She’s a powerhouse.

‘I had this track and I was talking to my team about artists who people wouldn’t expect me to work with‘.

With Melanie C’s latest album drop, ‘Sweat’, just this week, the powerful dynamic between American and British dance music will come to a head on the track. ‘Sweat‘ is already getting recognition for its dance sound with hints of 90s electronic and pop influence from her time in the girl group the Spice Girls. Melanie C’s influence on 90s pop will forever be sustained through the iconic group, allowing for this unexpected collaboration to be a memorable one, one that will serve 2026 an essence of movement and getting up on the dancefloor.

The album is set to come out on the 5th of June for all listeners and fans to enjoy. The album is also followed by an Ibiza to Europe tour, coming this summer.

Example, real name Elliot John Gleave, is known for blending high-energy electronic music with hip-hop and pop sounds. He first gained attraction within the UK dance scene in 2010, where his bangers ‘Won’t Go Quietly’ and ‘Kickstarts’ made the mainstream. The electronic pop meets his own rapping, creating a success in merging influences of rave culture with pop elements. He then released a 2011 album, ‘Playing In The Shadows’, where he made it to the top of the UK charts with ‘Changed The Way You Kissed Me’.

The ‘Hits & Bits Twenty Twenty Six’ tour comes as a design to showcase the artist’s memorable bangers. The tour will see him perform all 14 of his Top 20 hits. Alongside some new exciting music, all of the performances will feature a rave atmosphere with the visuals set to get the crowd up on their feet.

The tour will also mark Professor Green’s return to the stage, especially exciting as he is reportedly working on new music, through updates on his Instagram account. He is also set to headline a set at Manchester’s AO Arena in August. The British rapper will bring UK grime and hip-hop to the stage, with catchy classics such as ‘Read All About It, a collaborative hit song with Emeli Sande.

The addition of Beyond Chicago will see another branch of electronic music enter the stage, with the musical act releasing a UK dance EP in February, ‘Bad Jam EP’. The band is best known for their house energy, with their 2023 hit ‘Million Dollar Bill’ peaking at Number One on the UK Tiktok Viral chart. With local openers bringing their own energies to the stage, the UK tour that commences in just under two weeks is set to be a blast.
