The tour is the biggest of the band’s career and follows their sixth studio album, ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’, released on October 2nd through ODD SK and Distiller Records. After strong demand, a Leeds date and a second Manchester show were added, bringing the run to seven dates.
November 26th: Cardiff, Utilita Arena
November 27th: London, Alexandra Palace
November 28th: Manchester, Co op Live
December 3rd: Leeds, First Direct Bank Arena
December 4th: Birmingham, Utilita Arena
December 5th: Glasgow, OVO Hydro
December 11th: Manchester, Co op Live
Both Greater Manchester acts will be well known to the band’s fans. Arkayla are a four piece formed in 2023 who have built a loyal following through their live shows. They supported Blossoms on the band’s February 2026 European tour, and they have since sold out their own UK headline tour and released the EP ‘Back To Belle Vue’. They will be joining Blossoms and The Royston Club for the Birmingham and Leeds shows, and they have also announced their own headline show at Manchester Academy for May 22nd, 2027. The Guest List are another Manchester band, and they shared a festival bill with Blossoms at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington in May and will be continuing to support them on their second Manchester show on December 11th.
Indie Glaswegian band, The Rooks, will be joining them for their Glasgow date.
Heidi Curtis was previously listed as a special guest for the Cardiff date, and she also played Neighbourhood Weekender this year. The Royston Club, from Wrexham, remain on the tour for all dates.
‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’ takes its name from a Stockport nickname for the town’s Victorian town hall, where frontman Tom Ogden was married. It was recorded live to tape at Tilehouse Studios with producer Shawn Lee and has 10 tracks. Singles so far include ‘Joke About Divorce’ and ‘Meet Me In Love’, whose video stars Maya Jama and Callum Scott Howells. Also a special edition, is the appearance of Declan McKenna on the track ‘Additional Driver’.
To launch the record, Blossoms played small early and evening shows in Kingston, Middlesbrough, Liverpool and Stockport earlier this month, following a tenth anniversary celebration of their Mercury Prize nominated debut album.
