Rocks icons Oasis have been pictured rehearsing together without Liam Gallagher.
The announcement of their massive reunion tour in 2024 sent shockwaves through the music world, sparking a frenzy amongst fans eager to secure their chance to see Oasis perform live. Their tour is set to be their first live appearances as a band since their split in 2009. Around 14 million people were said to have attempted to secure one of the 1.4 million tickets at shows across the UK and Ireland alone. MXDWN covered this topic in detail here.
Now with just over a month to go before they’re scheduled to start touring, it appears signs of the Gallagher brothers’ rocky relationship are beginning to show. The band has been photographed heading to rehearsals, but Liam Gallagher is nowhere to be seen. Noel Gallagher, along with Oasis guitarists Bonehead, Gem Archer and Andy Bell, were photographed this Thursday, 22 May entering a London studio, where they rehearsed for 6 hours. The band’s new drummer Joey Waronker was also there, though he wasn’t photographed.

A source told The Sun that while the rest of Oasis are in London, Liam is currently in the South of France. The source reports: “Noel and Liam are rehearsing separately for now and won’t be going into a studio together until next month.
“Once Noel has finished up, Liam will be coming in to rehearse with the band.
“The brothers will then get together — it’ll be the whole of Oasis then — for a rehearsal or two, and then they’ll be ready to go.”
Noel and Liam are reportedly avoiding being photographed together, wishing for the first image fans have of them reunited to be when their tour kicks off. Despite this, the brothers were spotted together in a London pub last month, apparently to film promotional content for Adidas. According to a source, they were very loud, prompting neighbours to complain. They say: “Noel and Liam are still Shakermakers and they drove one of the neighbours mad with the noise.
“Before Noel and Liam had even arrived, a resident next door came out and said they needed to turn the bass down.
“But it’s Oasis – they’re only going to turn it up – and they did when Noel and Liam started up.”
