
The first bands have been announced for ArcTanGent Festival 2026. The award winning festival is returning next summer 2026 and will run from 19-22 August, and a list of artists has been shared on their Instagram, with headliners still to be announced.
At the top of the announcement is French artist Igorrr. The band mix together black metal with baroque, and are unique. This performance will be a UK exclusive. Joining them are fellow French musicians, metal band Alcest, electronic artist Perturbator, metal band Chat Pile, Belgian band Oathbreaker, Icelandic art rock band Agent Fresco, British rock band TTNG and many more artists.
Speaking about the festival, organiser James Scarlett said, “The demand for ArcTanGent 2026 tickets has truly been unprecedented, with over half our tickets sold in the first 2 weeks of them being sold.” “Fans will have to wait a little bit longer before we can announce our headliners, but we’re so excited for the exclusives, reformations and special sets we’ve already cooked up.”
The festival is taking place near Bristol from 19-22 August next year. They celebrated their tenth year running in 2024 and was shortlisted at the Festival Awards once again. It also won best small festival in 2018.
The festival continues to bring together some of the most interesting, diverse, exciting, and eclectic line-up of artists for any festival anywhere in the world. The award-winning festival is described as a green fields music festival that delivers unique line-ups that you won’t find anywhere else.
ArcTanGent festival has built a reputation for being the emerging UK rock festival, by putting on exclusive performances from not only exceptional, worldwide artists, but also new, exciting talent. The festival is fully independent and grows organically year on year.
Earlier this year, the festival took place at Fernhill Farm near Bristol from 13-16 August, and was another unforgettable year for fans of experimental and alternative music. The festival delivered a diverse and boundary-pushing lineup that showcased innovative artists in the underground scene.
Some of this years headliners included Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Karnivool, Tesseract, and Wardruna, with each bringing distinctive sounds to the festival’s main stages. The lineup also celebrated special moments such as honouring the 20th anniversaries of Maybeshewill and Rolo Tomassi, whilst Ithaca gave an emotional farewell performance. The atmosphere of the festival each year is widely praised for its sense of community and inclusivity.
