Doechii has withdrawn from upcoming festivals this week, including All Points East 2025 in London.
The rapper was scheduled to perform at the festival in Victoria Park during RAYE’s headline show alongside JADE and Tyla, this Saturday (August 23).
All Points East released a statement saying, “Unfortunately, Doechii will no longer be able to perform at All Points East on Saturday August 23rd. We’d like to apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome Doechii to All Points East in the future.”
She also withdrew from performing at the Forwards Bristol festival on Sunday (August 24) where she was due to perform alongside Jorja Smith and The Last Dinner Party, with no reason being given to fans.
The festival put out a statement saying, “Unfortunately, Doechii will no longer be able to perform at FORWARDS on Sunday August 24th. We’d like to apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome Doechii to FOWARDS in the future.”
A replacement for the star hasn’t been announced for either UK festival yet. Ticketholders haven’t been told whether they can get refunds for the festivals following the announcement of the cancellation.
She will also no longer perform at France’s Rock En Seine festival in Paris.
Doechii is due to perform around North America next month and in October as part of her ‘Live From The Swamp Tour‘ and there has been no further word of any cancellations. She is also due to perform a number of festivals in America such as Austin City Limits and One Music Festival in Atlanta.
The American rapper first became known for her track ‘Yucky Blucky Fruitcake’, which went viral following its release in 2020.
She became famous worldwide in 2024 when she released her album ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal‘, which includes songs such as ‘Denial Is A River’ and ‘Catfish’.
Months later, that album won the rapper her first Grammy Award for best rap album, with nominations for best rap performance and best new albums.
She is also known for the viral hit ‘Anxiety’, which was released after a YouTube video of her singing the song, which samples the 2011 hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ by Gotye and Kimbra, surfaced.
The positive reaction online encouraged Doechii to release the full version, which saw her reach number three in the UK singles chart.
