UK-based producer and DJ Daniel Avery has officially joined Domino Records, marking this new partnership with the announcement of his forthcoming LP, ‘Tremor’.
The 13-track album comes as a follow-up to Avery’s 2022’s critically acclaimed album, ‘Ultra Truth’, and is said to be a mixture of electronic styles: ambient, shoegaze, industrial, and techno, all blended in his signature experimental style, according to The Quietus.
Avery also described Tremor as “the welcoming spirit of acid house with the doors flung open wider still to allow in every influence from my musical journey. The warmth of distortion, the stillness inside intensity, the transcendental beauty of noise.”
The first single from the new record, ‘Rapture In Blue’, features vocals by Cecile Believe, which is the alias of Los Angeles singer and producer Caila Thompson-Hannant.
Cecile Believe isn’t the only collaborator on ‘Tremor’; Yeule and yunè pinku also feature as vocalists on the album. The presence of these artists marks Avery’s expansion beyond club techno into more vocal-driven, emotional territory.
Domino Records has ‘Tremor’ set for release on October 31, 2025. Until then, “Rapture in Blue” is out now, offering listeners a glimpse into what the new record has to offer. The album is Avery’s first release on the iconic label after a stretch on London label, Phantasy.
Avery is set to go on tour at the end of the year, but kicked off with a special afterparty event at Concorde 2 in Brighton on July 18. This show, linked to the On The Beach festival, offered fans a chance to see Avery bring his immersive electronic sound to an intimate seaside venue.
The next major date on Avery’s schedule is October 31, 2025, when he headlines New Century Hall in Manchester. Set to take place on Halloween night, this solo live show is anticipated to showcase material from ‘Tremor’ and highlight his signature blend of techno, ambient, and industrial styles.
The tour is notable not only for its relatively intimate venues, but also for its artistic curation—blending his usual club energy with the atmosphere of alternative gig spaces.
