British singer-songwriter, Charli XCX, who has brought back major success this past year with the award-winning album ‘Brat’, headlined at the We Love Green music festival this past weekend in Paris. We Love Green festival took place at Plaine de la Belle Etoile in Paris, France. Charli, establishing herself as an iconic figure in pop music, performed at this festival to celebrate exactly a year of ‘Brat’ on June 7th. Her festival set list included popular songs ‘360’, ‘Girl, so confusing’, ‘Von dutch’, ‘Guess’, ‘Speed Drive’, and ended the night with her iconic hit ‘I Love It’, released back in 2012.
During her set, the backdrop shared a message hinting that even after a successful year with ‘Brat’, this era is not over. Her message told the fans, “So tell me the truth, will you hate me if I stick around??? Because honestly, I don’t know who I am if it’s over. And so… I’ve decided I want this to last forever. It wasn’t just a summer thing.” Charli continues to hint at more music coming through a billboard, found in Brooklyn, New York, and London, UK, to celebrate her one year of ‘Brat’ saying “forever <3”
