Adele Laurie Blue Adkins MBE, known as Adele is an English singer and songwriter who rose to fame with her debut album 19 in 2008. Adele is known for releasing albums that refer to her age and went on to release albums 21 (2011) and 25 (2015) following her debut album. The singer also references her personal experiences in her music and is known for memorable songs “Hometown Glory” (2007), “Chasing Pavements” (2008) and “Someone Like You” (2011) and has sold over 100 million records worldwide.
The singer’s fourth album was set for release in September 2020 and was delayed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. Images of the number 30 in the form of posters and projections have recently been seen, around the world on the Colosseum in Rome, Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, Amsterdam’s Nemo Museum and New York’s Empire State Building.
As well as in Brazil, Malaysia, South Korea, Russia, Mexico, Italy, Poland, Ireland and in the UK at Buckingham Palace, in Paris on the Eiffel Tower and Brooklyn Bridge which has sparked worldwide speculation.
Speculation has now reached fever pitch as it appears that the singer is set to release her long-awaited fourth album. Although Adele is now 33, it has been said that the significance of calling her album 30 could be due to her being 30, when her relationship ended with her now 8-year-old son’s father Simon Konecki. Thus providing the singer with her signature writing material for her new album.
Reports have also resurfaced that Adele is set to take up a Las Vegas residency and if it were to be true, the singer will be following in the footsteps of Sir Elton John, Britney Spears and Matt Goss who have all held long-term Las Vegas residencies.
The singer is set to release her new single “Easy On Me” on October 15th and there are reports of a TV special being announced for the release of her fourth album with further reports of a pre-recorded concert being aired in December.
