Lola Young has announced a run of four UK shows as she eases herself back into touring. The South London born singer made the announcement on Instagram yesterday, describing playing live as her “happy place”.
The shows announced will be played in June this year in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London. Young performed ‘Messy’ at the Grammy Awards in January and also played a show at the London Palladium last week but this will mark something of a trial tour for the young singer-songwriter, as she wrote “As tempting as it is to jump into a big tour I’m going to continue taking things slowly despite feeling so ready to perform more”.
Other musicians including Spice Girls’ Mel B, Sasha Keable and CMAT shared support for Young, as well as Lily Allen who commented “In awe of you”.
Young’s song’s known to be vulnerable, honest and an unguarded reflection of her feelings can be attributed to her influences Joni Mitchell, Frank Ocean and SZA. Young has enjoyed a successful 2026 so far, picking up the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for her breakout hit ‘Messy’, followed by the Brit Award for Breakthrough Artist in February, these next run of shows will see Young return to performing following a brief stint away.
The 25 year old suffered technical difficulties and health problems during a run of shows – including Coachella in April 2025 and a few months later at the Capital Summertime Ball. Following this, Young collapsed at New York’s All Things Go Festival in September 2025 and subsequently cancelled her upcoming tour dates to focus on her health.
The London born singer-songwriter attended to the BRIT school and released her debut single ‘6 Feet Under’ in October 2019, which was followed by her debut EP ‘Intro’. She was signed to Island Records in March 2021 and subsequently released her debut album ‘My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely’ in May 2023 – the album referencing heavily her experience with her schizoaffective disorder. Her sophomore album ‘This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway’ released in June 2024 featured singles ‘Conceited’, ‘Wish You Were Dead’ and ‘Messy’. Her most recent album ‘I’m Only F**king Myself’ was released in September 2025 and reached number three on the UK Albums Chart. Fans are eagerly awaiting the live experience of her latest album.
The dates are as follows:
June 10th – Manchester
June 13th – Birmingham
June 16th – Glasgow
