Maroon 5 have been announced to headline BST Hyde Park in 2026.
The U.S. pop band will headline the festival on July 3, with support from One Republic. A full support line up is still to be announced.
The announced comes after the band recently released their eighth studio ‘Love Like This‘ earlier this year in August.
Maroon 5 are one of the biggest pop bands in the world, having sold over 135 million records and topping the charts globally during their career.
They first rose to international fame with their debut album ‘Songs About Jane’ (released in 2002), featuring hit singles like ‘This Love’ and ‘She Will Be Loved’.
Their infectious blend of pop, funk, and rock quickly gained them a massive global following, especially in the UK. Over the years, Maroon 5 have maintained a dedicated UK fanbase through multiple tours, chart-topping singles, and award wins.
Their first major UK performances came during the early 2000s, where they played intimate venues before selling out arenas such as London’s O2 Arena and Manchester Arena.
The band’s following tours, including the ‘It Won’t Be Soon Before Long’ (2007) and ‘V’ (2014) world tours, featuring multiple UK dates, showing their popularity. In 2019, they returned to the UK for the ‘Red Pill Blues‘ tour, receiving widespread praise for their energetic live performances and production.
Maroon 5’s success in the UK charts has been top-tier, with several singles such as ‘Moves Like Jagger’, ‘Sugar’, and ‘Girls Like You’, achieving multi-platinum status.
They have also won major awards at UK music events, including the BRIT Awards, showing their reputation as one of the world’s most successful pop artists.
With their career spanning over two decades in the music industry, Maroon 5 continue to maintain a dedicated fanbase through dynamic performances and evolving sounds.
The band will join other major headliners already announced for next year’s BST Hyde Park shows, including Garth Brooks and Pitbull who will headline on June 27 and July 10 respectively.
Lewis Capaldi will also play two nights on July 11 and July 12. More performers are set to be announced.
BST Hyde Park has become a major festival in the London summertime schedule, with huge names such as Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo headlining earlier this year. Other acts to have played the stage over the years include The Rolling Stone, Adele, and Taylor Swift.
