The summer of ‘25 has been one of reunion and progression. With albums from Suede and Pulp, a Radiohead reunion and Damon Albarn back on stage, you wouldn’t be called crazy for assuming we were in the 1990s.
Yet the crown jewel of the last few months, Oasis Live 25, will always be the focal point of an incredible season of music.
Fans globally have been treated to a reunion that has lived up to the hype. Although it’s not yet at its climax, oasis supporters are already biting off more than they would have even considered chewing less than two years ago.
In August it was leaked by The Sun that Oasis had been offered 4 nights at the legendary Knebworth House next year. Their insider reportedly said: “There is so much on the table but it’s whether Noel and Liam want to do it.”
Until their penultimate Wembley gig, that was all fans had to go on. But before belting out Champagne Supernova in a typical Oasis encore, fans were delivered four words in particular, that have since echoed around the world:
“I wanna thank you lot for keeping the faith and putting this band back on the f**king map. Champagne Supernova. See you next year!”

It seems crazy, to suggest that Noel and Liam Gallagher would return to playing arenas and the odd gig, when they’ve just spent months blowing the roofs off of 80 thousand seater stadiums, most of which don’t even have a roof to blow, mind.
Noel himself even said he was totally overwhelmed by the reception in Cardiff walking out for the first time.
Speaking to TalkSport Noel said: “ I was blown away… everyone is, its difficult to put it into words its been truly amazing.”
“I grossly underestimated what i was getting in to, my legs turned to jelly halfway through the second song.”
That sounds like a feeling you can’t just turn your back on after one crack at it.
Oasis still have gigs to play this year, the band will grace Wembley Stadium one last time this Sunday, before heading to Asia, Australia and South America, cultivating in Brazil.
Whether Liam Gallagher is simply ‘on the wind up’, or something official is in the works, it fair to assume the frontman will be probably dropping nuggets throughout the home stretch, so keep your eyes peeled.
