Manchester’s legendary Warehouse Project has revealed four fresh events for its upcoming autumn run, reaffirming its reputation as one of the most influential clubbing institutions in the UK.
Launched in 2006, The Warehouse Project is known for transforming dark, industrial spaces into industry-leading electronic soundscapes, known for attracting some of the biggest names in various electronic music scenes, and the new shows are no exception.
The first of which is the Concourse Takeover on September 12, where DJ Heartstring will take the headline slot. They’ll be joined by DJs Niamh, Peach and Spray.
The second of the four shows sees German producer, &ME, headline the Depot stage. Signed to iconic German electronic label, Keinemusik, this is a rare opportunity to see &ME in the UK. The full lineup is still yet to be announced.
October 11 is the much anticipated Defected x Glitterbox takeover. With two of the biggest names in the Ibiza scene coming together under one roof, this is set to be the most popular of the four new shows. Promising the best sounds in disco, house and soulful sounds, highlights include: Eats Everything, Ella Knight, Natasha Diggs b2b Melvo Baptiste and Dan Shake.
Finally, October 25 sees the return of the much loved South African DJ, Black Coffee. A regular at Mayfield Depot, Black Coffee has been a fan favourite for a long time; the Grammy Award winning producer is set to be one of the season’s highlights. Expect his signature deep-afro house grooves.
These star-studded lineups will join acts such as: Barry Can’t Swim, Sammy Virji, Annie Mac, Dom Dolla and FISHER, who are all playing Warehouse Project this year.
Tickets went on sale on Thursday July 18 after a day of pre-sale, and with a capacity of around 10,000, Depot Mayfield remains one of the UK’s biggest club venues.
